Wonderful cafe & HEAVENLY BAKERY!!!
OPEN FOR BREAKFAST & LUNCH ONLY, CLOSE BY 4PM. My husband & I tried this comfort food palace since we share the same name. Now we go like the locals do. The homemade berry pie we ordered was amazing! Taste like the birthday berry pie my God mother made me as a child♡♡♡. The buns are made there daily are pretzel buns?!? I dont like pretzels...HOWEVER, I did try their bacon cheese burger!!! Crazy delicious, generous servings so hubby and I share the meals. Bonus, you can get tater tots with your burger at lunch time. ( breakfast is served all day long!♡) Cinnamon rolls are loaded with cinnamon, melted icing, yum. Or try the fruit filled pop over. Homemade pies have been available each time we've been there.♡ Bring a friend to share the fruit filled Danish. Each time we go we meet some of the friendliest folks, usually named Karen or friends named Karen...🤔☺ dont forget your loaf of fresh baked bread before you leave. A new couple of friends we met while there, happens everytime. Feels like my HOME TOWN♡.
If you are a breakfast burrito lover, this is the place to go! Their breakfast burritos are ALWAYS made fresh in the morning. Their breakfast baked goods are also something you need to try! My favorite thing about this place though are the owners. I'm always greeted with a smile. Karen's cafe is a great place to go.
Huge tasty burgers. Come really hungry. Staff pleasant and attentive. Did not get dessert - we were too full. One of the best burgers in the
Mountain.
Great service. Very filling Philly. Patty melt was tasty. Good prices. We got delicious pastries to go because we were so full with the portions. Update: we returned for the 10th time and it's still amazing. Their breakfast is well crafted. The owner gave me this amazing chocolate ganache for my birthday. Thank you!

Bob and I ate here yesterday, mushroom/cheese burger w/ homemade potato chips. One of the best burgers I've had in a long time!!!! We told her we were splitting it they even served it on 2 plates...it is just across from the Atrium in Lakeside on White Mountain Rd. The pastries looked delicious and will definitely get some of those today...the menu is varied and VERY reasonably priced. Actually cheaper than most of the fast food restaurants.
