The Fish Bol

Nice Deco and good vibe, however, the food is sub-par. I read a comment that this place is comparable to Jimmy's. I didn't order the sushi but the regular menu items were not impressed. The chicken tempura/katsu actually is sweet and sour chicken from Chinese take-out. The Salmon is alright, but a bit too greasy. This place is no way near the quality of Jimmy's. However, perhaps the Sushi or Ramen is a different story.

Servers are really nice and attentive but food was disappointing unfortunately. The sushi rolls were tiny and poor value for money and the fried noodles came extremely oily despite giving specific instructions to lessen oil. There was no ramen either on the menu. I can't recommend this place for Japanese food or sushi sorry. Food needs major improvement and better value for money.

This is the 2nd time I've ordered this dish. They call it the birds nest. The pictures I got are from a pick-up take-home. This dish is very delicious, you let the juices get absorbed into the crunchy noodles. It is in my opinion a heavenly delight. Everybody there was extremely kind and helpful. The food is made with passion and love! I got a nice feeling from drinking there cold Sake which by the way was really really good. It's a small business show some love help support. Also thanks so much to Lilly for the excellent service. Cya guys in the future!

WOW, I was blown away by the flavor of the food. During our week stay, we ate there several times and each time I got something different & my palette was very pleased. This little place has big things going on. Outstanding food, service & prices!! The owner visited our table and could not have been any nicer. Thank you for a wonderful experience, we will be back!!!!

Disappointed is an understatement. I used to get take out from this place in 2019 until the pandemic hit once, twice, sometimes even three times a week. The chicken Ramen bowl was phenomenal. Well prepared every time, very unique and flavorful broth, quality ingredients and flat out delicious. Order a chicken Ramen bowl shortly ago and it is absolutely awful. Full of soggy noodles, watered down broth that tastes worse than canned Campbell's soup, no bean sprouts, a few pieces of mushrooms and overcooked, dry chicken. I was charged $3.00 for extra chicken and there was literally 5 small pieces in the dish. Not sure if this place is under new management since the pandemic (it was top notch last year when Bek was there) but I will not be going back and I would advise anyone considering it to avoid it.
