We happened upon Elliot’s on Linden as we were riding around the area. It was a Saturday night but decided to stop. No seating but we’re invited to have a seat at the bar where the entire menu was available. The salmon was excellent. The servers were very attentive but not overbearing and not rushed. The pistachio crème brûlée was great. Very educational sitting at the bar.

Excellent food and service, with a menu that changes based on the freshest ingredients available in season. The price point is high but it's worth it. I'm a Charlotte resident who drives up to the Sandhills to visit family, and this restaurant competes with any of the farm to table style restaurants in the "big" city. We went for the whole gambit of appetizers, entrees, and dessert. Portion sizes are generous, but not overwhelming. I would order anything that is based around what's in season. Highlights in the appetizers were a peach and fig burrata, crab hush puppies, and the tuna tartar. Entree wise they have a wide variety of seafood and meat preps, but the highlights for us were the lamb wellington and halibut special, which honestly we could have shared between the four of us. Dessert wise we had a seasonal peach cake with ice cream, and a sticky toffee bun also with ice cream. Both were light and delicious to finish off the meal. Our service from Josh our server was excellent and efficient. Unprompted he immediately assisted getting my 90 year old grandma into her seat, and then went straight into getting our drinks and telling us the specials. All the food came out fresh and well timed, and Josh consistently checked on us without being overbearing. I would say for new comers that you could make an entire meal for the table just sharing appetizers and one or two entrees, and you all would leave happy.

Very nice and relaxing evening. The food was so good. The cocktails were also delightful! We did a girls dinner and enjoyed every bit. The tuna tartar was super fresh and light. We also enjoyed a butternut squash appetizer that was similar to caprese. It was so good for a starter. The salmon was wonderful also. It had a little kick to it but not overpowering. Also, the lamb wellington was cooked to perfection! Will go back and this time take my husband for a date night!

Impeccable food everytime. We live about 45 minutes away, worth the drive. I ordered the brussel sprout salad lamb wellington and cheesecake. 😋

Poor service, we were seated in a side room which is used as deli at lunch and a cafe, it was very cold, quite loud and had zero atmosphere. I don’t want to spend $40 on an entrée to sit between a soda fridge and barrels of packets of chips. Our drinks took 20 minutes to come out (two glasses wine and a beer) and then our entrees took 15 minutes, none of which were quite hot enough, which makes me think they weren’t cooked fresh. Would not return and very shocked at the number of good reviews!

Birthday dinner for our son. requested reservations for 7 told they were booked we had to go at 5:30 or 9pm. We dined so we left after 7pm and only 3 tables had guests. Food above average and beautifully presented. Portions just right.

First time there and everything was fantastic. Had scallop crudo as appetizer, Duck and Elk for dinner , and creme Brule for dessert. Wait staff was phenomenal and I recommend it highly 👌

We celebrated a dear friend’s birthday as a party of six. Our table was not ready until 40 minutes after our reservation. The manager gifted us a round of drinks while we waited, which we initially really appreciated, but they were awful. After we were seated there was some confusion as to whether it actually was our table. Our server was knowledgeable and kind and the redeeming member of the service we received. The food was ok but not for the price point. The whole process took so long that we had to rush through our meal once it was received as we all had babysitters home with our kids. We enjoyed our evening because we loved who we were with but as a couple, my husband and I paid $115 for a mediocre meal that took way too long to receive. Will not return.
