For such a small area, you get to see a wide variety of animals. This is a great family activity. Staff were very polite and helpful. Unlike a traditional zoo, this is not an all day trip. In my opinion, 2-3 hours is sufficient. We were able to see most of the animals close up.

This place is incredible! You HAVE to go and make a day of it. My husband and I took our 12 and 14 year old sons...ate a picnic lunch there and stayed 6 hrs. We learned so much about all the animals they have rescued and saved. The staff is so much fun to talk to!!! SO knowledgeable and personable ... we felt like we were chatting with friends. The animal encounter was the most amazing experience. My 14 yo said it was the most amazing experience of his life lol! We will be back soon and are telling all our friends they HAVE to go!

Great visit! This was our first time here. We went during the week when it was likely a bit slower than the weekends. It was small enough to see everything without a ton of walking, yet large enough to enjoy the park and animals.

Very nice staff and clean facility. Lots of animals to feed and interact with. Playgrounds for kids and food available in an AC environment. Great family venue. Challenging for the wheelchair bound or mobility challenged to move about the grounds. Lots of rock, gravel and uneven ground. Bring a motorized scooter if possible.

Cannot say enough good things about this place! Everyone who works here is so awesome! Lots of cool animals for us and the kids. An up close encounter with adorable lemurs and some info on them and why they’re endangered/in the conservation program. Military friendly. This place made our stay in Pilot Point! ❤️

This was a great little find in the "middle of nowhere" The animals all seamed happy and well taken care of. The guy who was roaming amongst the enclosures was very knowledgeable and could answer all questions. Nice variety of animals we had never seen before!

I liked the idea of seeing exotic animals, but as soon as I stepped into the ranch it was nothing that I expected. Sharkosa Wildlife Ranch has NO registration as an actual rescue or sanctuary. So if you think you're going into an ethical place to experience these animals...you're not. The animals that you were able to feed looked, and acted, very malnourished. The water available for the animals was muddy and dirty and given that it's incredibly hot in Texas during the summer, that should be top priority for the animals. At the goat petting corner, the animals also didn't have water and although they were really cute to be around, many of them looked depressed and hungry. There is barely any staff walking around to check on the animals welfare. There's a separate enclosure for aggressive goats you weren't supposed to feed, but they're aggressive because they don't have the bare minimum needed for survival. I was excited going into the ranch, but after I left I felt depressed seeing every exotic animal hungry, ignored, and having no clean water. I won't go back again.

Pretty cool little place, the amount of animals they had exceeded expectations. Only knocking a star off because it doesn’t feel super clean. They have porta potties and some regular bathrooms in their gift shop area. It is nice they have playgrounds for the kids as well. Definitely would go back!
