I’ve frequented lots of tapas restaurants when in Spain, and Basque tastes just as authentic!! We tried many tapas and they were all satisfying, especially the Shishito peppers and baby squid. Would also recommend the seafood paella and OF COURSE a pitcher of their red sangria! The tapas came out quickly and the staff was so attentive, polite, and lovely - really appreciated their service. Great local spot that I hope to visit again soon :))

Authentic Spanish food, all with a good flavor and fresh taste. This is a restaurant you MUST visit in Piermont. This is the second time I have visited this restaurant and it has not disappointed me with the wide variety of tapas, dishes and wines. The staff is very friendly and professional. If you don't know what to eat, don't be shy about asking what they recommend because I assure you that you won't regret it. Something that many want to know before going out to eat is the price, I tell you that they have very good prices and the portions they serve are good. Buen Provecho!

If you’re looking for a taste of Spain, then try Basque! The paella we had was a special for the night, but it was absolutely amazing. All of the seafood and rice was cooked to perfection and we couldn’t get enough! We also had the red wine braised chorizo tapas and it tasted delicious. I highly recommend getting the paella! It is a bit pricey but overall very worth the money cause you cannot beat the taste of the food. The servers were very nice and attentive. I appreciated their service so much. I definitely will come back and try more of the tapas.

I’ve been a serious foodie for 30 years in and around NYC and have not been this excited about a restaurant in our area since basque opened. They literally can do no wrong, from prime cuts of beef to the freshest of seafood. Benny the owner treats me and my family well like family! Good selection of wine some really great higher end wines I love. Must try’s are manchego frito, spicy tips and any of the paella…if you don’t do seafood order the meat paella it’s all so good I’m salivating writing this. I go every couple of weeks to get my fix! Oh try the pistachio tartufo for dessert…life altering!

This restaurant not only has the most amazing food, but also the most amazing staff. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. Especially our waiter, George - can’t say enough good things about him. We had a great experience here! Would 10/10 recommend and come back again. The paella and sangria is excellent 👌🏼

Good Spanish food. Chipirones, pulpo, paella, alcachofas, pan con tomate, albóndigas, y guisos varios. Very kind staff. Unfortunately the place is a bit dark and tries to fit the Spanish cliché with flamenco music in the background and easy replicas of Spanish art.

Five stars is not enough. We drive from NJ just to eat here. You can’t go wrong with anything you order. The food is authentic to the Basque region of Spain. Kudos to the chef. The staff is efficient and friendly. We are salivating thinking of the next time we go. By the way, we always go on weekends for lunch and order food to go for dinner. Just can’t get enough.

Looooong wait but well worth it. I called ahead for Valentines but unfortunately they don't take reservations or call ins so it was about 90mins waiting but it once we got our food, I understood why. It was the best seafood paella and churasco that I've ever had. My mouth was tingling. The white sangria and apple galette were also phenomenal and the service was just as great. The hour and a half wait might seem long but I could do two hours and it still wouldn't be a waste of time.
