Elk Creek Steak House & Lounge

I am not one who usually complains, but when you pay over $300.00 at a restaurant, it would be very cool if over half the food you ordered to come out perfect. Cold and burnt food: the price isn’t terrible if it’s good, but it betta be good. Cold restaurant: how are you supposed to enjoy a $30.00 steak when it’s cold as heck (couldn’t take my jacket off and it’s snowing, I mean come on, where’s the warm welcome!), out of several menu options and the rolls, the server sat on her phone as we waited on drinks, complaints were heard and never addressed, they grilled my prime rib and the server seemed like she just did Not want to be there. She got a full 18% tip without complaint because We know we are all trying to make ends meet, but things need to change and you can’t do that unless people tell you what’s going on.

Holy cow! The tomahawk ribeye meal for two was amazing! My wife and I chose to celebrate my birthday here with a nice meal. Boy was this the right choice! We ordered an appetizer platter, it was super hot and fresh and very yummy! Our salads were crisp and fresh. My wife ordered a mixed drink from the bar and thought it was very good but a let down because she thinks they forgot the good stuff in it. I am all about presentation of food, the steak was presented top notch, salads were great, personally I would find a way to present it with dressing not in little plastic containers, not complaining at all and understand dressing is really hard to distribute to customers and have some type of portion control! Same with the sour cream. I love the low lighting and country feel and small town atmosphere. Loved the candles on every table and in the restrooms! The restrooms were very clean and maintained. The waitstaff were very friendly and punctual. Parking is nice and open and handicapped parking is available right in front of the entrance. I gave this yummy place 5 stars because Elk Creek Steakhouse deserves it! If you have never been here I would highly recommend givin it a try! We will be back again! I am pretty sure you will not be disappointed and leave with an extremely full belly and leftovers for steak and eggs the next morning!

One of the worst experience I have had at a restaurant. Extremely cold atmosphere. Slow service half my food came out burnt and to top it off it off I had to choose another item because they where out of what I wanted and that didn’t bug me until I had burnt food come out and the other half of the table getting cold food if the server would have came and checked on us and not sitting on her phone I would have been more understanding but not making it right will keep running this business to the ground it’s like they don’t care of customers come back.

A lot of restaurants boast about the quality of beef they serve and it’s my honest opinion that they just don’t compare to the cuts served at Elk Creek. The variety and innovation on the menu is top notch, so not only is there something for everyone to really enjoy, you’ll know that every dish is crafted with genuine passion and quality ingredients. I’m not even going to start talking about the Prime Rib. The folks over at Elk Creek really care and it shows. Go check it out and tell me I’m wrong.
