Kotobuki Japanese Restaurant

This is a throwback for sure. Great sushi and the dishes are perfect. As a Japanese person who has had to endure a million average “Japanese” restaurants with sushi becoming mainstream this place is a pleasant surprise. Reminds me of those restaurants I used to go to when you couldn’t get a non Japanese person to eat sushi 🤣. From the Chicken Katsu to the Sukiyaki everything is good. Their service is friendly and portion sizes are solid. Highly recommended.

Horrible sushi and extremely bad advertisement, FALSE advertisement! The deluxe sashimi and sushi, its almost $70.00 on doordash for trash. The picture shows uni, amaebi (raw sweet shrimp), hotate (scallop), all higher end items, which would validate the $70.00. But i didnt receive ANY high end items. All I got was tuna, and not fatty tuna, salmon, COOKED shrimp (ebi), and hamachi. Three low end items, and the sashimi and nigiri were the same three fish. No variety. And whats worse is that they all had zero flavor, even the salmon. Oh! And there was a BONE in my salmon sashimi. Terrible. Horrible. Completely false advertisement as the picture does not represent ANY of the items for the price to be compared either. I would not go back. I would NEVER recommend.
