I love this little place here in Downey Ca, it's a little BBq place ran buy a women! nice environment people friendly, food good, but I go for the drinks!! They are unique and delicious 😋 😍 prices are average $$$ but the drinks 🍸 lol! Margaritas 🍹 and there is also a bar vibe going on with a karaoke 🎤 nights! Super fun neighborhood spot!!

Mediocre at best. Dry brisket almost like jerky. Fries were way undercooked. Salad was good but nothing special. Service was horrible. They had the TV blasting and the music on at the same time. Place was empty and I can see why.

We got the Family meal for 8 people. Ribs, chicken and pulled pork. It comes with only one small side order and some toasted bread. We ordered the mac n cheese, added mashed potatoes and corn on the cob.
Pros: Nice amount of meat.
Their pineapple, watermelon & cucumber lemonades: BOMB
Cons: The mac n cheese was not good at all. Tasted like over boiled, tasteless, soggy box noodles. The mash potatoes were kinda cold. The bread over toasted. The rib meat a bit dry.
Maybe it was a bad day... we will try it again.

I purchased a multitude of sandwiches (Pulled Pork, Hot Link and Chicken) for the office staff. They loved it all and they all wanted to know where did I purchase the sandwiches from. The quality was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

It was nice,, if you find yourself in the area and have a taste for BBQ, this is a good place to try .
The Staff is friendly, atmosphere is nice,, a great place to enjoy a game on their wide screens or even after your game come on in and enjoy.
ample parking in the rear, the next time the Southside Unicorn is in town , I will go back again.

This place was empty when I was there but I'm glad I stayed Food is good .. portions are good for the price but the flavor needs a little help like the mac and cheese. But the Q (Bbq)is good not to dry nor slopping with Bbq sauce. I would come back .. and the guy was super attentive.

Delicious food. Great selection, great staff and service. Beer is also available. Small n cozy but definitely worth checking out.

The best BBQ place I have had in year's. I was amazed how much flavor all the meats had. Juicy and tender if I could give this place 10 star's I would. They have 2 sections to the restaurant a sport's bar side to watch all the games and a casual side to sit back and relax. Will definitely be back soon.
