Cool spot wanted to try for taco Tuesday and got 3 street tacos for $5. Not busy, ordered and got tacos within 3-5minutes. Salsa bar and chips. carne asada tacos were good, pollo tacos a little too dry for me even doused in salsa. would do just carne asada next time.
This place is AMAZING. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food with a Southwest twist, this is the place. We got the Ruta 2 with the Carne Asada Fries -- there was plenty for us to split both, and still enough for leftovers. Service was great. I used to live in Latin America, and Ruta 15 reminded me of eateries in C. America. Really loved this place!
I'm shocked this place wasnt packed! Just as good as some of the faddish taco shops in town and with bigger portions! Very good salsa/topping bar and free chips! Recommend!
Delicious, non-greasy Mexican food. Absolutely phenomenal! The various salsas are flavorful and spicy (well, the hot and fire salsas are spicy) and the homemade tortillas are probably the best I've ever had. The staff is nice and the service is surprisingly fast. The menu is quite small, but it honestly didn't matter, just makes them the best at what they do offer. The only drawback to the place is the prices. They are a little expensive, but definitely worth it and not so much so that they deserve anything less than a 5 star rating!

The BEST taco joint I have been to since moving to the Phoenix area! Reasonably priced and nicely presented plates. Friendly atmosphere and staff is on top of their game. Perfect place to grab a quick bite or sit down and spend some time with friends/family. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to try out a new authentic taco place! 5 STARS!!!
I ordered the carne burrito, and it was fantastic. The carne was seasoned perfectly, and the homemade flour tortilla tasted so fresh and blows away those standard tortillas. The fire, green, and avocado salsas were wonderful, but the red mild salsa tasted like a cheap store bought brand. Despite that minor shortcoming, everything else was great -- the restaurant is clean, orderly, and they serve up legit Mexican fare at a reasonable price.
Delicious and authentic. Seems like everything from the tortillas to the meat to the sauces is homemade. The best tacos at the best prices I've seen in Phoenix. The staff are all really nice and the inside is clean and comfortable.
If you're looking for real authentic and quality home made Mexican, this is the best spot I've found in the valley since moving here in 2018. The home-made tortillas were a great first impression of my plate. I recommend this spot to all of my family and friends when they are in town.
My girlfriend and I recently moved from Austin Texas (where we all love our tacos) and finally found a taco place that excceeded our expectations. The food was amazing! Great service. The meat was juicy and delicious. Loved the salsa bar which had amazing salsas (the spicey green is on point) and all of the toppings you could want. Will be back for taco Tuesday!!
