This is the definition of unpretentious, outrageously good food. It literally fills my dreams before a trip to Phoenix and I cannot wait to get more of it when I leave.
Get messy and enjoy the Camarones Estilo Cucaracha (yes, I know what it means...now shut up and eat it). It's some of the most perfectly prepared shrimp I've had in the US. The sauce is spectacular.

I took my Padre out for his birthday and we enjoyed the boombox And hanging out .l had ordered Oysters for my first time and fell in love with the way they put purple onions and cucumber peelings . This has me craving for more . I can't wait to try out more food .

This is my go to mariscos spot (especially since it's just 3 minutes away from my house). Stopped by yesterday and tried something new.. I got the cóctel de camarón en coco which is a shrimp cocktail in a coconut and its was ok not my favorite. On the other hand I also ordered some of my favorites: a michelada, toritos, and a scallop tostada. The toritos are chilies wrapped in bacon and stuffed with cream cheese and shrimp! You can never go wrong with that. Then the scallop tostadas they are like ceviche but instead of shrimp you get scallops cooked in shrimp. This is not a busy place which is why I love it and the service is always so quick because of that.

My family had several different dishes and they were all outstanding. I had the seafood stuffed fish fillet with creamy chipotle sauce, my wife had the fish tacos, one kid had a bean n cheese burrito, the other a chicken quesadilla. Everything was outstanding, not one disappointment. Thank you Mariscos Ensenada, we really enjoyed your flavor combinations.

Great ceviche, thoughtfully prepared fish, and everything was so fresh and flavorful! I don't know if it has huge tourist appeal, but I understand why locals recommended it to us. We would definitely come back next tine we visit Phoenix!

The food was delicious. I recommend going with the mentality to try a number of items. We tried the fish tacos (superb), stuffed Chile's(superb), shrimp tacos (superb), shrimp tostada (superb), and smoked Marlin (superb). Simply delicious!

Definitely felt that they didn’t like white people there (me), but I couldn’t blame them. I probably wouldn’t like me either if I were them. However, service was attentive, food was amazing (especially the fish tacos), ice cold coke from a bottle. Best you can get!
