I'm not a big fan of meat-in-a-bowl restaurants. Mainly because the food is usually flavorless and the recipes uninspired. Flame Broiler seems to be a step above the rest for a few reasons. The meat is actually good, they have some good original sauces and they seem to be focused on using better quality ingredients.
They do not charge extra for brown rice, which is cool.
Another reviewer complained about it not being fat-free and white-meat, but I don't see anything that claims it is fat-free. There is a sign that says "up to 96% fat-free." And you have to pay extra for white meat.
That being said, I'm a namby-pamby when it comes to chewy fat and gristle. I'm "that guy" who spits it into a napkin instead of chewing it to death or swallowing it. And I didn't do that at all with the chicken or beef in my order.
However, there still is not a lot going on here as far as variety in recipes goes. So it's hard to imagine visiting to regularly.

Found out today that anytime you order the white meat chicken you automatically get the 5oz of protein. I usually get the mini bowl with brown rice and white meat chicken and it's very filling. The customer service is also consistently great.

Super happy to discover we finally live close to a Flame Broiler again! One of our favorite teriyaki chicken rice bowl places to eat at. Where chicken is actually chicken! Every time we eat here, we feel like we are a bowl full of healthy yumminess and we never regret it. I sure missed my chicken bowls. I personally like ordering mine with white rice, veggies and add green onions. Hubby does the same but with brown rice. Hope this helps! Enjoy!

This was our first time visiting Flame Broiler. We used to enjoy a Mongolian barbecue in the past and were hoping this would be similar. My wife had the chicken bowl and I went with the half & half (half beef ,half chicken). We both tried the magic sauce, which seemed to be mostly soy sauce with a little garlic. The vegetables were steamed well with a little crispness, but still warm and tender. The chicken and beef had a.nice flavor that complemented the vegetables. We didn't try the three available hot sauces, but plan to at a future visit. We will definitely be dining here again or having grub hub deliver it to home.

This place has good food, and seems very clean. However, during my last two visits, there has been only one employee working in the whole place. On my last visit, the young man working behind the counter was the only one there, and was working hard to do everything at once during peak dinnertime. After standing in line for a while, another employee walked in and started helping. I would think that she could have taken a break when it's not so busy.
Because of the short staff, I'm not sure I will keep coming here.

Amazing place for eating clean. Food is delicious and always cooked perfectly for me. I would disregard the negative reviews because I come here all the time! Very fair priced. Staff is super nice too! We need more of these places

2nd time I have been here and I will say I am defenetly coming back! Great service!!! Our bowls were picked up and thrown away by this young man who treated us great! And made us feel special besides the great quality of food the service by Xavier was definitely a cherry on the top! Thanks Xavier you totally made us feel like we were someone you knew!! Man! Really enjoyed their food and sauces but was there today and sadly as another mentioned they are closed due to not paying rent. They had tasty chicken and beef bowls and some simple steamed vegtables that complimented the bowl pergectly. Also loved mixing their magic sauce with the terriyaki. Sweet and spicy perfection. Tasty and fast. Great customer service. Meat was good on it's own, variety of sauces take it a notch up. Veggies were cooked well, and still had a bit of a crunch.

The food is simple, fresh, and cooked well. The sauce bar lets you add flavor and spicyness to whatever level you want. I like adding the avocado to my half and half bowl.

This is fast food for the health cautious people. I don't understand their hot sauce as one is hotter then the other but the name says the other is. Overall great food at a fair price, so I can't complain.

Drove to the bell location to find it's closed due to unpaid rent. at least that's what the sign read. Will the location be closed long? i love the food! just a little disappointed.
