One of the absolute best dive bars in Phoenix with famous/classic drinks all at an affordable price, made by some of the best and most personable bartenders I’ve ever met! Totally and completely recommend!

Do you want to sit in a dark bar? Do you want a bartender who knows what they're doing? Do you want a drink that doesn't come in a martini glass but you want to look fancy so they put it in a martini glass for you anyway? If you answered yes to these questions, you want to go to shadys.
Stopped into this no frills tavern one weekend afternoon and ended up having such a blast with the local crowd watching movies on a few tiny tvs and doing Irish Car Bomb shots! They don’t play sports so if sports aren’t your thing, you will like it! We Loved the daytime bartender!!! But We were VERY disappointed at the evening bartender. We tried to befriend him, but he was a real DUD! We finished our drinks and left but will definitely return, as long as that guy isn’t there!

Very nice place. Cold drinks, welcoming/inviting, amazing service, friendly regulars, clean, great prices. It's a nice place for business meetings, meeting a diverse crowd, and to play a game of pool.
This place is amazing. It is a throw back. Snells like liquor. Eclectic yet friendly sophisticated clientele. I wish they had some food options. Even like a daily sophisticated crock poter..green chilli...ale beef stew... Best cocktails in town. Very reasonable. My neighborhood place. A bit of an attitude but jist short of snooty..
Think your friend's parents wood paneled basement. Got that visual? Good. Still interested? Cool. If you are looking for live music or to watch sports - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. If you want good drinks, a cool selection of movies and good conversation with real people - this is your place. BEWARE - if YOU are an a-hole, you will be treated as such and we hope you never come back again.
Nice little dive bar with a pool table nice music on the jukebox and just a nice little cozy bar to have a few drinks with friends and a good time
Have always loved this place. Super nostalgic every time I come back. Love the drink selection, random movies playing, and jukebox.
Great place to hang out. Shady's is the perfect divey bar with a great jukebox, pool table and a cool vibe.
This is a true dive bar, but had guiness on draft so I was happy. A small place that has a fireplace and a pool table. The bartender was also very nice.
Vegan grilled cheese was bomb and the whiskey so good. Fun staff as always.
