Food is fresh, excellent flavor and their new updated menu even lists some gluten free options. I love their sample platter, papusas, and the shrimp ceviche. It is a "mom and pop" style restaurant and the service varies each visit but the food is always consistently delicious.
Love the tamales especially the cheese one! Definitely a place I would recommend if you’re looking for really great authentic Salvadoran food!
Super friendly and absolutely delicious! Had the revueltas and the pollo ones, would Def go back
So this was a take out order and my first attempt at finding a place here in Phx. Let's say I ate like a Goddess. Lol My order came in wrong but I can not complain, the items I ended up arriving blew my expectations. I got to try so many things, pupusas, corn tamales, yucca w/carnitas, even dessert.
Reminded me of childhood and I've never been happier to have leftovers 😋
I live up near #3 but I might have to make an exception and come back down here! I loved their black bean pupusas and maduros, it was absolutely fire with the salsa and curtido. My boyfriend hesitantly tried a bite and ended up sharing the whole plate with me, regretting he didn’t get one too. They were very friendly and nice to me even when I messed up ordering online, and they got my food to me quickly, it was so fresh. I hope to come back here soon, it was so so good! 😍
I loved there food its was so good. Friendly waiter and cashier. The bathroom is not high tech but very clean. The thing I love most is that they had a step stool for my daughter to use. Its a small place but I would recommend to try something new here. I posted other pictures but I'm sorry I ate and drank it before taking a picture.lol we will return again.
I’ve been coming here for years. I realized I’ve never reviewed it. It’s very difficult to find a good pupusa place—especially, coming from LA and knowing people who can really make these. There’s a reason why I come here as often I can. The service is always great. I try to go during off times, due to this place getting so packed. Like always, I order a chicharron and a mixta. Of course, they have other great salvadorian dishes but I coke here for the pupusas. Absolutely delicious. Go. You won’t regret it.
Stopped by today after I got a haircut food was very good different flavors nice balance too much food for 1 person every person was there took food home with them the horchata was different was good
We stumbled by looking for something new and we love pupusas so we stopped in to have some. There were many different flavors to pick from and we got the 3 pupusa plate each with two sides. The fried plantains are delectable and the frijoles were as well. Really good attentive service and a family oriented place to dine.
I frequent this establishment on a regular basis. I love all the caldos here. The caldo de pollo is my favorite the res is delicious also. Pupusas are on point the price is very reasonable. The waitstaff is very good. While you wait you can get your daily dose of Salvadoran news on the television. I highly recommend coming here. Great place for a date.
Pupusas hit the spot
The tamales were yummy
The bean's were delicious 😋
The food was fresh so prepare to wait 30-45 minutes for your food on a Sunday night
What an amazing place! Me and my wife work as truck drivers and where stuck in Phoenix for some repairs on our truck and decided to find some Salvadoreño food, so we googled of course and found this place. There was a lot of mix reviews but said what the heck, let’s go try it. WOW!! the food was delicious. It actually tasted like I was back in El Salvador. Don’t understand why people are giving bad reviews on the wait time (there cooking your food).
To the people in the restaurant, “Thank you, Everything was so delicious” When ever I’m back in town I will definitely stop here again.
