I love Vietnamese food so I had to try this place. The food is good just not authentic so keep that in mind. Nonetheless, it is very flavorful, the goi cuon was really good, just wished it had more pork in them, it literally only had one small piece at the bottom. If you like your pho with tendons, this one don't come with it, just fyi. But overall, good food.

I went here out of convince near the hotel looking for something homey feeling. Basilics owner did not disappoint. The egg rolls were perfect. Perfect amounts of black mushroom with shrimp and pork. The pho was different while very good. Was wt about a 4.8 out of 5. She did encourage to try the bone marrow with it which upped the levels of flavor quite well. I would highly recommend.

A group of 5 of us went for lunch on a Saturday. The food was delicious, but the service was even better. Our server was personable and funny, gave recommendations when asked, and was quick with drink refills. It was very quiet inside, but one of the group has been there multiple times and said dinner hours are usually busy. This will be my go-to lunch spot after morning meetings in that area!

This restaurant really impressed us with the food quality, and great service as well. Fresh ingredients makes all the difference. Shaking beef was excellent, as was the House Special Fried Rice and Chicken Curry. Will def be back. Nice location across the street from Phoenix Art Museum and Phoenix Theatre Company.

Cool place, great service, family owned, wonderful people, and incredible food! We stopped by for dinner on a Sunday evening following a weekend stay in Phoenix before heading home to Tucson. We don't know the Phoenix restaurant scene well and were looking to try something new on short notice and stumbled upon this place. We are anti-Applebees types. We ordered spring rolls, Pho, shaking beef, lemongrass chicken, and fried rice. All of the dishes were spectacular! We also enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff. My family is already looking forward to coming back.

First customer to come in for a Saturday lunch. Place is clean and tidy. All tables have place settings ready. Our server is very polite and attentive. We got a complimentary shrimp chip basket (yummy) to work on while we decide what to order. The music gives the ambiance a pop vibe. The food we had is great! The pix speak volumes. The hot tea, though, could use hotter water. Oh... I got excited they have bubble tea on the menu... but they don't have any during our visit. Bummer. Will come back. They better have bubble tea! LOL

Ate here roughly 5 times and ordered take-out twice. Food here is incredible and full of flavor. I wouldn't know if it's authentic or not, however, it holds its own.

I have to admit that I’ve never been a huge fan of Vietnamese food, though Basilic Vietnamese Kitchen may have changed my mind. We started with the Crispy Shrimp Chips which are as stated. They were nice and it gave us a chance to try out the condiments on the table to see what we liked. We then moved on to the Appetizer Combination Platter. Great choice! The egg rolls were fairly standard, the Spring Rolls were quite good with the different sauces, and the Crispy Calamari was divine! They pair the Calamari with a stir fry charred mild pepper which balances out the heaviness of the fried food. I’ve never seen it served this way before and my taste buds were happy for the contrast. I had the Spicy Lemongrass Chicken. As a hardened AZ transplant I was hoping their “Spicy” description referred to a level of heat, sadly it did not. The dish was quite good in flavor but lacked any heat. My companion had the Spicy Stir Fried Beef. He said the same; good flavor, zero heat. Overall the experience was good though I would still say they are in the “soft” opening phase where they are still getting the operation to function smoothly. We’ll be back!

Ordered the Shaking Beef and it was excellent. Service was slow especially considering we stopped by for lunch and it wasn't busy. Fully expect food to take a longer time.
