Service from everyone there was so nice and friendly. And the fish taco and spicy shrimp taco with rice and beans were the best I've had. Salsa bar very fresh veggies and salsa. Get the creamy Chipotle sauce on the side! Place was very clean and inviting. Can't wait to get back there soon.

Some of the best carne asada fries that I've ever had. Clean restaurant and facilities, staff was very friendly. The shrimp and fish tacos were amazing. They have their own salsa bar. Prices are halfway between Taco Bell and an actual sit down restaurant. My meal cost around $10 but I was really hungry. Enjoy!

After reading the reviews i expected more. I ordered fish tacos, asada tacos and asada fries. All were bland and lacking flavor, price was high as well for my small order. I would go back and try something else but if their simplest dishes were that unsatisfying i dont think i will.

Great place! Their sauce actually has a bite to it. Service is very friendly as well which is a huge plus. Their tacos are great. I've come here quite often ever since I've found them.

Good food, but heavy and greasy. The fish tacos were nice and fresh. If you want a place not as generic as Filiberto's, or Federico's give this a try.

This place has excellent, fresh, tasty food! The service is outstanding - they make you feel like family. You can see into the kitchen, and it's super clean. I love Gorda's!

This is suppose to be the best Mexican restaurant in Laveen. However the last two nights I've gotten here before 7:30 and they close early cause they're not busy enough to stay open.. I don't know how you can run a business that way.. not professional at all.

I've been here a handful of times and have only ordered their crispy beef tacos which are very very good and everything is very fresh. I recently discovered they changed their menu and you can no longer by the crispy tacos individually.....booooo:-(. Now it just comes as 2 tacos and a side of rice and beans for $8.00. I can't justify 4 bucks extra for rice and beans. If you can buy the soft tacos in threes with no rice and beans for $8.00 bucks why can't you do the same with the hard tacos? Makes no sense to me. Other than that discrepancy this place is a solid 4 stars.

Great Food. I stopped by this past Saturday as I had a craving for carne asada. I live in the area and noticed Gorda's Baja Taco. I am glad I tried the food. I had the carne asada burrito with rice and beans. It was great food for a good price. The staff there were great. I was asked by name how my food was and when I was on my way out I was addressed by name as well. It's hard to find that kind of service nowadays. They have RC cola in their soda fountain, which is something that I haven't seen in a while.
