So good!! Made a special trip today for the Carrot Cake special of the day- definitely worth it! And the 24 Karrot ice cream is to die for! This place is awesome!

I took my daughter for a cupcake, and I’d like to say it was an amazing experience. The cupcakes are absolutely delicious, naturally it was a great time for my kiddo sweets, and glitter is always a win. The ladies of small cakes make the environment! I had a brief but enjoyable conversation with them, and they are extremely inviting, and outgoing. Check this place out, it’s awesome!

I used Smallcakes for my wedding cake and I can't tell you what a wonderful decision it was. Everybody raved about how delicious the cake was and it was absolutely beautiful. Smallcakes took my order on very short notice and made it a wonderful experience.
Smallcakes did my birthday cake recently! First off, they were very helpful in helping me design the cake, as well as fix it when I later decided I was not happy with the design of the cake. They worked very patiently with me to be able to get the best end result of my cake that I wanted. I got many compliments from my family and friends on this cake, as well as how delicious and well made it was. I had the best experience possible with Smallcakes, and will utilize them in the future as well as recommend them to all my friends and family.
Stephanie did a fantastic job with our wedding cake and cupcakes. Christian was wonderful with communication as well. Everything was made gluten and dairy free and the fact that they can customize ANY flavor of your choosing is so great. Our wedding cake was two tier, with perfectly straight lines around it and beautifully placed floral to complement it. The taste and texture of the cake and cupcakes were so good. We had people who were not gluten and dairy free telling us how they would have had absolutely no idea they were allergen friendly. I highly recommend Smallcakes of Ahwatukee and my husband and I plan to use them for any other special events.

Wished I took a before picture, but what can I say? 30 minutes into being home and this is what you get.(don’t worry, I shared 😜) They were beautiful none the less! First time coming to this shop, decided cupcakes is what I wanted for my birthday! Although the red velvet was a little dense (we did come a little before closing so it could be that) it was worth the drive and cost! You don’t find quality like this! Yes, it’s pricey, but the saying goes, you get what you pay for! Thank you for such wonderful treats to celebrate 🎉

I checked yelp and came across Smallcakes, they were able to do a last minute cake order thankful we found smallcakes and were able to make this birthday cake happen for our son! Was in desperate need of a cake! Called and advised of what I needed and wanted for my nephews birthday and I was reassured that the cake would be done by 5:30pm that day. I cannot tell you how great this place is! They made my daughter's birthday cake. Everyone agreed, it was almost too pretty to eat! I'm glad that we did though! It looked STUNNING & tasted AMAZING! The staff is BEYOND nice too! They have a forever customer!

The gender reveal cupcakes were beautiful and delicious! We also tried a chocolate one at the store and it was perfect. Rich but not too sweet.
A small bummer for my order is that we ordered a chocolate cake base but it comes with a standard vanilla flavor. I'd suggest going over custom order details the day before pickup time. Overall still really good though.
Wonderful team, and amazing customer service, there's something for everyone, and no wrong choices. The cake and cupcakes are delicious, and my only real regret was not getting their ice cream as well. This shop will definitely be a stop whenever I visit Phoenix in the future.
Ordered some vegan cupcakes for my birthday and was so amazed at the quality and flavor! My two favorites have to be the wedding cake and the peanut butter chocolate. Definitely need to make another visit for some tasty treats!
My family has used Smallcakes numerous times and they always deliver beyond our expectations! During our last trip there was a small mishap with the cake (our fault) which left me in tears. After calling the shop the staff allowed us to bring it back for a quick fix despite being completely slammed. The cake looked even better than before! I cannot stress enough how wonderful the staff is and how amazing their cakes and cupcakes are.
What a cute little shop!! I’ve ordered 3 cakes from here, and they did not disappoint in look or taste. The owner is incredibly nice and took my very vague ideas and brought them to life. Absolutely perfect design considering I gave very little guidance. I was blown away when I picked them up. My guests raved about the flavor. I even asked for one of them Vegan due to egg allergies and nobody could even tell the difference. Highly recommend!
Small cakes are very good at there customer service, they just want the customer to be satisfied. I asked for a chocolate rich cake, and it was delicious. I don’t have words to express how good it was. The design was exactly the same I wanted. Baked properly, icing and quality perfect. It was a vegan cake and it taste amazing. Recommended
This is my second time ordering cakes from this location and they are always amazing!! The cake itself tastes delicious and they are always able to create a beautiful cake from the array of images I throw at them lol.
We needed a custom smash cake the same day for our daughter's 1st birthday, and Stephanie went above and beyond to get it done for us!! She was up to the challenge (unlike a few other bakeries I talked to) and super helpful with everything. We sent her a couple design ideas and she made a beautiful design for us for a reasonable price. She even finished the cake earlier than agreed. It was delicious and worked perfect for the occasion. It was a pleasure ordering from Smallcakes and we will definitely use them for our next occasion. Thanks again!
Smallcakes Ahwatukee did an absolute STUNNING job on my wedding cake! I got married this past Christmas, and Husband and I could not have been Happier with the design she created for us! It tasted absolutely amazing, and EVERYONE I mean Everyone loved it! I would 10/10 recommend this company to EVERYONE! And I have done that since my wedding day for any cakes possible!
