So good!! Made a special trip today for the Carrot Cake special of the day- definitely worth it! And the 24 Karrot ice cream is to die for! This place is awesome!

I used Smallcakes for my wedding cake and I can't tell you what a wonderful decision it was. Everybody raved about how delicious the cake was and it was absolutely beautiful. Smallcakes took my order on very short notice and made it a wonderful experience.
Smallcakes did my birthday cake recently! First off, they were very helpful in helping me design the cake, as well as fix it when I later decided I was not happy with the design of the cake. They worked very patiently with me to be able to get the best end result of my cake that I wanted. I got many compliments from my family and friends on this cake, as well as how delicious and well made it was. I had the best experience possible with Smallcakes, and will utilize them in the future as well as recommend them to all my friends and family.
Stephanie did a fantastic job with our wedding cake and cupcakes. Christian was wonderful with communication as well. Everything was made gluten and dairy free and the fact that they can customize ANY flavor of your choosing is so great. Our wedding cake was two tier, with perfectly straight lines around it and beautifully placed floral to complement it. The taste and texture of the cake and cupcakes were so good. We had people who were not gluten and dairy free telling us how they would have had absolutely no idea they were allergen friendly. I highly recommend Smallcakes of Ahwatukee and my husband and I plan to use them for any other special events.

Wished I took a before picture, but what can I say? 30 minutes into being home and this is what you get.(don’t worry, I shared 😜) They were beautiful none the less! First time coming to this shop, decided cupcakes is what I wanted for my birthday! Although the red velvet was a little dense (we did come a little before closing so it could be that) it was worth the drive and cost! You don’t find quality like this! Yes, it’s pricey, but the saying goes, you get what you pay for! Thank you for such wonderful treats to celebrate 🎉
Was on the hunt for a last minute birthday cake for my son! I checked yelp and came across Smallcakes, they were able to do a last minute cake order thankful we found smallcakes and were able to make this birthday cake happen for our son! Was in desperate need of a cake! Called and advised of what I needed and wanted for my nephews birthday and I was reassured that the cake would be done by 5:30pm that day. The cake was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. My nephew was so happy and so was my brother. I can’t thank you enough! The cupcakes are also amazing!

I cannot tell you how great this place is! They made my daughter's birthday cake. Everyone agreed, it was almost too pretty to eat! I'm glad that we did though! It looked STUNNING & tasted AMAZING! The staff is BEYOND nice too! They have a forever customer!

The gender reveal cupcakes were beautiful and delicious! We also tried a chocolate one at the store and it was perfect. Rich but not too sweet.
A small bummer for my order is that we ordered a chocolate cake base but it comes with a standard vanilla flavor. I'd suggest going over custom order details the day before pickup time. Overall still really good though.
