Stopped by because I was starving and I’m glad that I did. I had something simple (green burrito) and it was packed with flavor and the kool-aid was fire. The older gentleman was kind and courteous and the woman with the beautiful eyes was very pleasant as well. Thank you I’ll be stopping by every time that I’m in the area.
Friendly staff, home-cooked meals. Prices are good as well. A little "hole in the wall" place that I REALLY enjoyed. I've been back several times since 1st posting this review, and have tried other great meals. The food here is very tasty and filling. Recommended! Well, Mims has retired and this little restaurant has permanently closed. :(
A new job brought me to this area and a quick Google search found me Mim's Burger and BBQ. At first glance the place doesn't look like much but as we all know looks can be deceiving.
I was in a hurry and just got a cheese burger, fries and a can of diet cock to go. When I got back to my desk and began to scarf down my food I was suddenly very pleased to find not just a burger and fires but a damn good burger and fries. This is what a greasy spoon burger should taste like! The burger was juicy and had a ton of flavor, The fries were done just right and had a good flavor as well. I will update once I have tried a few more things because believe me, I will be going back!!
get over the look pf the place and enjoy a greasy spoon like it should be. The people working there were beyond friendly as well. Just a great little place to eat.
We gotta support our local restaurant and believe me it pays off. I tried Mom's today and I wasn't disappointed. I ordered the Philly Sub special and it was great. I would definitely come back to try the rest of the menu.
I LOVE this place! Catfish, BBQ, burgers, they offer all kinds of good stuff. The catfish is made with corn meal flour—excellent! Fries are perfection. So far that’s the limit to my experience, but I will be expanding and trying more on this menu—good down-to-earth food. Highly recommended.
The burgers come in a big size. patty to bread ratio is good as well. Additionally, the value is appropriately priced. The fries are consistently crisp. Another fantastic value is the hot dogs.

Wasn't sure what to expect. Pretty nice place. I like the atmosphere of the dine-in area and the older arcade machines. Food was good and at a nice price. I'll probably come again.
We had the pastrami sandwich and burger, both were really good. Nothing fancy about the food or restaurant but it’s genuinely good food. The lemonade and sweet tea are great as well. Prices are good for the food and portion sizes.

Another gem! It has that old school diner feel with arcade games. You order at the counter then wait for your order to be called.
The burgers are a great size. Good ratio of patty to bread. And the price is on point for the value. The French fries are always crispy. The hot dogs are another great value.
There's more to the menu. It's great for lunch if you are in the area.
