Review Five Guys - Phoenix

Everyone knows five guys has amazing food. But this location has the most friendly staff ever! I only go to five guys on days I’m having a bad day, and these folks never fail to make me smile! They always have a kind word or compliment or something friendly to say. Especially the guy with a man bun! Give these folks a raise. Thank you!

My first visit at Five Guys: Price. $30 for two people isn't bad, as long as the restaurant can deliver the value. Since the red and white checkers make this restaurant look like a carbon-copy of In and Out Burger (a $2 burger), I got a little nervous about the value. More on that later. Delivery. They served everything in a sturdy paper bag to hold the behemoth burgers and fries, upon which they add more fries on top of everything in your bag (at least double). And they provide these tiny Dixie-sized fry cups. This is a nice psychological trick to provide more value when the fry cups could simply be big enough to hold all the fries they clearly want to give you. Food. The fries are something from heaven. Soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, the perfect amount of salt, and freshly made (indicated by the potato sacks strewn about the store) so that you want to keep eating. The burgers will not disappoint even the hungriest appetites. They are giant and delicious, although messy. Not ideal for work lunches or dates. I personally think they could season the patties a bit more, but under- is better than over-seasoned. Value. They are comparable to Fuddruckers in price and quantity, but not as good as Johnny Rocket's double bacon cheeseburger. Five Guys does have the best chain fries (not created in a laboratory). In and Out Burger should take notes from Five Guys about how to make fresh-cut fries taste right. Ambience. The red and white checkers reminds me of the widely-known fast food chain In and Out Burger. Five Guys should rethink this design since they offer better-than-fast-food burgers. The sacks of potatoes sitting around say, "Hey, were gritty, and we deal with large quantities. We want you to see how many fresh potatoes we carry on hand. In fact, these sacks are so big, we'll kind of use them to create a pathway when you walk in. We have big burgers and lots of fries. You'll get what you pay for here, Bub." At this location, the men's/women's bathrooms need serious attention. The entire doors, floors and handles are sticky. The leak on the rug in front of the soda machine is dangerous. I slipped both times I walked near it, without falling down. I ate my burger to the music of "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" by AC/DC, reminding me of my sinful act to eat this monstrosity while simultaneously reinforcing my manhood. I enjoyed the meal immensely, and I'll be going to confession later. If you like big portion sizes, menu simplicity and music selections that send you down memory lane, this is a great burger place.

First time going here. It's hard to find a good Burger, but this place definitely has great Burgers.

First time eating at a Five Guys Burgers and Fries, and they did not disappoint!!

Five guys always makes the burger fresh!!! The taste is so addicting!! I've brought my Mom once and now she can't ger over it. Truly a masterpiece. Keep it up!!!!

We had a very nice time enjoying our lunch on the patio. The weather was great and it was cleaned when we arrived. 5 Guys has definitely become OVER-PRICED as we paid over $30 bucks for two burgers and a shared order of fries. That's what took away from our having a 5 star experience like we've enjoyed in the past. Sorry 5-Guys but $11 + is too much for a fast food cheeseburger.

Five Guys was nice and messy which is the sign of a good burger! However the attendant did make a funny comment about a competitor down the road from them being more expensive and then my sandwich and drink was more expensive than what I had paid at the competitors. Regardless it was still a darn good burger!

Best to go burgers! Great flavor, quality meat and fixings and fries to die for!

Amazing food, burgers are stacked and cajun fries are seasoned perfectly. Ppl are kind and helpful for new customers.

This is the best fast burger chain hands down. The quality is impeccable! The burger meat itself is top notch along with the fries. Although I do wish less salt is added to them given they have flavor already. Keep in mind that there is a difference between expensive and overpriced.
