Cant go wrong with rubios. Whether they are stand alone or in a mall. I love me some fish tacos but when is that lobster burrito coming back? Very clean dining room, great drink selection, excellent food and the employees were friendly and very good at their job.

If we're wanting a quick dinner, Rubio's is often our first choice. We can get a decently healthy and tasty meal for a great price. The salsa bar is the icing on the cake and the main reason we go! This location is always clean and has a very friendly staff.

For a Sat. night they only had one girl up front, running the register, taking phone orders anddelivering food to tables. She was swamped but never lost her cool, was very polite, very friendly and very efficient. The kitchen rocked. They were able to get the food out quickly. But only having one person on a Saturday night up front? There was a longer wait than I've ever had before and unfortunately I did notice at least two people leaving because they did not want to wait. Having said that the food was yummy as usual and the service was outstanding.

Once in a blue moon l grab a quick lunch at Rubio's. I got a bean and cheese burrito which l generously filled and smothered at their salsa sauce bar. Rubio's has a very good selection of complimentary sauces to choose from. Mild, spicy, chipotle (smoky) flavors and tomatillo sauces are neatly displayed in a large self-serve cart. Slices of lemons, peppers and chopped cilantro/onions are also available. My burrito was plentiful, order was quick, staff was great and it cost me $5.74. Not bad for a once in a blue moon fast food lunch! Here is a well-deserved 5 star for Rubio's.

This was my first time eating at Rubio's and I enjoyed my meal. It was filling. My wife had the seafood tacos and they were seasoned well. Relaxed atmosphere and in a great location.

The original fish tacos are my favorite item on the menu. To be honest, I haven't tried too many items because I always end up going with the tacos the next time I go back. Not that the other items were bad, the fish tacos are just that good.

For a fast food restaurant, Rubio's really stands out. Their selection of Mexican seafood dishes from tacos to burritos to bowls is truly outstanding. The ingredients taste fresh, and your meal comes fresh off the grill while you wait. You can even have a Corona or other Mexican beer with your meal.

As far as chains go Rubio's is pretty good (hey even Filly b's is a chain). I've been going to this particular location since I was 8 and they have always been consistent. The restaurant is clean and the food is always hot and fresh. The only thing that I would change are the prices but as you already know those are going up EVERYWHERE. I would recommend the taquitos (totally not Mexican at all) or one of their burritos. Oh and since I was 8 means I've been going here for 21 years. God I'm old.
