Detroit Coney Grill

I love their burgers. They have fast service and great food. I always enjoy their food especially there burgers. They have some specialty sodas too. If you go once, you will definitely go back. I usually get their double burger with the works. If you're extra hungry they have triple and quad burgers too!!! Enjoy!

The Detroit Coney Grill was a great place to grab a cheap lunch. I had a hot dog with ketchup and an order of fries, and my mom ate a coney dog with onion rings. We both thought our dogs were well cooked and flavorful. Fries and rings were hand cut and very tasty. We dipped them in ranch and both suspect the ranch was housemade -- it was amazing! My mom did think the chili was a little heavy on the cumin, and I thought my bun was a little hard. But it was cheap, yummy, and fun -- I'd definitely come back again if I lived in Phoenix!

We were in town for Spring Training and stopped here for lunch one day based upon the recommendation of a friend. I went in fully expecting to get a coney but then changed my mind and got a burger instead. My friend got a coney and we both had fries. We both enjoyed our meals very much. The lady who took our order was very friendly and was giving us recommendations. Then she stopped by our table a few times to make sure we were doing ok and asked what we thought of our meals. I liked the decor as well. This was a place that I’m not sure I would’ve stopped at, but I’m glad we did!

Wow, just finished my triple burger from Detroit Coney Grill. Now that’s a burger. Only $5.45. I am full!! Crowded with people and only took 5 to 7 minutes for my burger. I see why they were voted one of the best hamburgers in the country. No more Wendy’s, McDonald’s, Burger King for me. This is my place for hamburgers. Will try the rest of their items in the coming months.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good the chili was here. I thought that with it being a chain, the chili would be too heavy on beans and under seasoned. In fact, the only reason I went is because my son wanted to try. Am I glad I did!!! The other thing that I was not expecting was for the hot dogs to actually taste good. I'm used to getting the cheap tasting almost disgusting hot dogs from places like this. I could not have been more wrong. If you are ever in town and love a good chili dog, GO THERE it's worth it.
