The food, service and atmosphere here is top notch. It has a really great vibe and a beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright inspired bar. The menu is really diverse. The champagne vinaigrette is a favorite of mine making any salad delicious. Everything I've had or my friends have had has been incredible--from the fish to the prime rib sandwhich to the drinks. You MUST save room for dessert (hence the restaurant's name.) All desserts are made in house with white chocolate. My favorite is the white chocolate bread pudding made with Godiva white chocolate sauce and croissants. I recommend making a reservation as it gets crowded. The servers are really professional and they provide a great dining experience. Check it out! It's my go-to place to bring out-of-towners.
Met a friend for dinner here on her suggestion. I am from NY. I was greeted with smiling faces and seated promptly as we had a reservation on a Friday evening. We ordered a specialty drink called the Dragonball Lemonade. I do not recommend it. It had so much sugar it tasted like someone dumped a handful of pixie stix in it.
I ordered crab cakes as my main meal & they were fabulous as was the homemade tartar sauce. The mashed potatoes were to die for. Dessert was a blondie. Flavorful & out of this world. I wish we had one of these in upstate NY.
This place has been one of my favorites for a while. Consistently delicious with a cool atmosphere. Top notch service. You won't be disappointed. Try the Balsamic Ribeye and the White Chocolate brownie!
We stopped by here on a whim and we were glad we did! What a lovely experience, from the friendliness of the hostess and wait staff, to the swanky atmosphere, to the taste, quality, and portion size of the food. This place was great! My fiancé got the BBQ Trio, which came out of a huge plate! We figured since this place was more upscale the portions would be tiny, but we were wrong. He nearly popped, there was so much food. I got the Fresh Spinach and Kale salad, a healthy choice which also came out on a huge plate.
Food and service were wonderful. Make a reservation,this place gets packed quick. The Blue Cheese Steak was delicious. Also the shredded brussel sprouts were amazing and the apple pie 🥧 was unexpectedly fireworks in your mouth
Went with another couple last night at it was very busy. We haven't been in years it's good to see they are still popular. Service was great and it's a nice looking interior. Everyone enjoyed their dinner but $18 for a turkey club with very little turkey is really not exceptable.
Wonderful restaurant. Steak was seasoned well and cooked wonderfully. Server just the right amount of attentive. Not 100% about the chocolate souffle cake I think it was as I found it a bit dense but amazing flavor. Will be back :).
Enjoyed a nice dinner with our KC friends. They had found this restaurant through other friends who were locals and had enjoyed it in the past. We liked the ambience, food, and service.
A friend and I go here for lunch several times a year and have been for almost 10 years. The food is great, the service is great 98% off the time, and the atmosphere is enjoyable. About the only thing that is hit or miss is whether the coffee will be hot or warm. Most often we get the BBQ ribs, never a bad rack of ribs. We've tried all the desserts and the favorite is the apple pie tart. The last visit we had the chicken sandwich which was fabulous!
This is my place I’m obsessed with white chocolate!! This place is classy, great atmosphere Great food!! I’ve gone here since 2007 and never had a bad meal!! Great staff, awesome waiters n waitresses!! Drinks are good and strong too!! I don’t like places that charge Crazy prices and don’t bring it!!
Consistently great! Both the food and the service were terrific. Came in post-New Years with a group of 8, with reservations, and everyone raved about it. The jambalaya was packed with flavor (and spice). We had seats in the bar area, which I prefer and the server John was amazing - including his handling of a party members food allergy/restrictions. We will keep coming back! and if your looking for a great dessert, go for either the chocolate souffle or the white chocolate brownie, you won't be disappointed!
