Great night at the University Club celebrating Children's Action Alliance and their honored awards recipients (Will Humble Executive Director of AZ Public Health Assn. and Barrio Cafe's Silvana Salcido Esparza)...both outstanding in their support and care of AZ's children during the COVID pandemic.
The University Club is a lovely venue, great for all kinds of events like this to something like a wedding and/or a reception. Check it out.

This venue has everything! Ceremony/Reception capability, big guest capacity (up to 200 guests), catering, table/chair rentals, linen rentals, and alcohol. Absolutely stunning historical home turned venue. I highly recommend this venue to any and all couples getting married! At first, we were planning an all-outdoor event (ceremony and reception) but rain was in the forecast. Kristal, the venue manager, was able to work with us and bring the reception indoors with zero hassle on our part. The staff here set everything up and tore everything down quick and efficiently and were extremely friendly to us and our guests. She was also able to reserve the Heard Museum across the street for us to take our Bridal party photos/bridal portraits at which was an added bonus.

This venue is semi-private for members and guests, so it is not available for walk in or unaffiliated visiting. For persons eligible to be served, the location is clean, well maintained, and not hurried. Food quality and table service are top notch.

I recently held a celebration of life ceremony at "the university club of Phoenix" for my brother. I could not be happier than I am with how helpful and wonderful the people that helped me out at the venue. I would also like to extend my personal thanks to Rheanna for helping me with all of our set up requests and to Isillio (sorry if I have the name wrong) for how helpful and thorough he was during the event. Thank you all again for helping my family in this time of sorrow.

My wife had NY Strip steak sandwich, and cream of poblano soup. She raved about both.
Desserts were: coconut/pineapple and chocolate tarts.

My daughter and son in law got married here 5 years ago. The food was good, the fries were great! The wedding planner promised many things but didn't deliver. There was supposed to be a winter lawn put in, she said. The wedding was the middle of November, the grass was dead. We spent the whole day before cleaning up the outdoor area. They had hired a landscaper for months. Go for the fries but but don't have your event there.
