This place is amazing! A variety of rolls and all I've tried have been delicious. Their appetizers and desserts are good, I really love the cheesecake tempura. Prices are decent and during happy hour, they're fantastic. Good portion sizes and they are always willing to give me extra ginger, which is a plus. Wait staff is always pleasant and the restaurant is clean. They're usually pretty busy Friday and Saturday nights and moderately busy the rest of the time. My husband and I go all the time and every other place I try doesn't measure up!
I'm a world traveler. Sushi Style in Phoenix is my #1 favorite Japanese restaurant, and has been for several years. It is far, far more than sushi which, nonetheless, is extraordinary. Happy hour is the time to begin but don't neglect the extensive menu--I love the ramen with roast pork while my wife always gets the bento for lunch and takes home enough for dinner--and the daily specials on the white board by the sushi bar.
I had been craving Udon noodles. This place was near my house. I ordered Udon with chicken. California rolls and tempura vegetables.
The noodles was delicious with warm broth topped with green onions. Seasoned just right. Not to salty. I wanted to just drunk the whole bowl.
The California rolls was good. The seaweed wraps were a little chewy.
The tempura, the sweet potatoes was sliced to thick and didn't cook all the way through.
I hade enough noodles for a couple more meals.
I was not disappointed in my choices.
The staff was ready to explain the menu. The restaurant was really nice and comfortable. I was going to get my order to go but once I walked in the place I changed my mind.
Service is super friendly. Great happy hour specials! Outdoor seating is where the vibe is at! It will be very busy on the weekends so be prepared. But I am always pleased with the quick service and happy smiling servers even though they are busting their butts and super busy!
Really loved the soft shell crab. Their happy hour nigiri shushi is generous and fresh. Staff are nice and attentive. Calamari rings were maybe not my favorite because the batter was too thick.
Just an awesome value.

Kirin Light Sake Bombs For the win! Amazing sushi! Frank, our server, amazing. On top of it! The girl waiter on Sunday, was killing it, even with a new girl! New girl was kinda slow. Lol. Sorry.
Authentic Japanese cuisine, the Katsu Chicken was on point served in a bento box! Miso soup and California roll was also very good, highly recommend!
This place was absolutely amazing. me and my boyfriend went there today and were shown great respect from the servers. Everyone was very friendly, including our server Sydney. The food was also fantastic. I got the mussels, crunchy tuna roll, squid salad, and the Las Vegas roll. My boyfriend got the bento box with teriyaki beef, crab puffs, and California rolls wich also came with Miso soup and salad. The prices for the food were also really good for the amount of food we got. The miso soup didnt fit his taste but I enjoyed it very much. The cleaning routine for the tables were fast and thorough. In all we really enjoyed it and will be going there again.
We go here often and enjoy their bento boxes which is the best of everything. It includes different choices of sushi and an entree, rice, veggie and more. Good food, good price good place to go.
Service was fast and friendly. Our food was made prompt and tasted as expected as this was our first visit. The coctails were tasty. They had the doors open which made the inside chilly so plan accordingly as they left the doors open till closing.
Sophia and Min provide top notch service. Every time I come in I am greeted with a smile and served delicious food! I appreciate everyone’s unique personality. If I could eat here every day I could
