The atmosphere here is amazing, the cooks were happy and talking with customers, managers and bartenders made sure everyone had drinks and quickly! My first time there seeing Jesse Daniel and it was so so good!! I hope you guys branch out and open some more drummers!
We came in to celebrate a friend's birthday, and more people showed up than we anticipated. But the staff were so super nice and let us budge tables together so we could all sit together. My server recommended double dipped red gold wings, and boy was that an amazing choice. I couldn't finish the full dozen because they were so massive. I brought the remaining 7 home and they made an amazing lunch for me. We were constantly checked up on and never had empty glasses. I hope everyone else at the table had as great of an experience as I did after we left. Would love to come back and see a show here sometime. Reminded me of my nanny's house back home. Loved it!
Recommended by Kevin at the Costco tire shop. I grew up in Phoenix and have been to several DDs in the past. They are known for neighborhood cheap beer but not the food. It's not my first choice normally. While it is your standard bar menu, the quality was great. The cook was behind the bar at his grill and proud of what he was cooking for us. Excellent to see someone take pride even in a simple hamburger. We got the hamburger and Philly sandwich. Both were cooked perfectly. The bread was perfect, too. We will be back for the wings next time. My hat is off to this DD for doing it right.
Remodeled and looking great!! Always a stop when I'm in town for the chicken wings (get them grilled, worth it) bartender was attentive and assertive
A great "local" bar with live bands and a dog friendly outdoor space. Delicious food - wings, burgers, sandwiches, fish and chips and crispy crinkle fries with nacho cheese sauce. Always friendly staff and a kitchen open until midnight.
The hot wings and reubens are so good! A fun atmosphere! Our server was awesome. We’ll certainly go back! The only thing that could make it better is not having to walk through a cigarette/ashtray smell to get to the front door or to be able to eat outside and not be smoked on.
Good food very tasty, good beer selection, service was good!! No host!! You can pick your table!!
My wife and I split a Cheese Drummer (1/3 lb), and a half dozen grilled garlic parmesan wings
We added bacon and bleu cheese to our burger, and ordered it medium
The wings were amazing, very juicy and tender, the sauce just the right amount of garlic and parmesan
The burger was cooked great, combination of cheeses, good bun
The fries were tossed in a slightly spicy blend, and came nice and crispy
The Drummer has been a staple in Phoenix since I was a child for good reason; would definitely recommend, will definitely return
This place hits all the marks for a neighborhood bar. Good food, service, and atmosphere. The people who work and patron this place are great 👍

Reasonably priced food menu... Jalapeno Poppers 'excellent' the best of its kind I've eaten. It comes with a Strawberry Chipotle sauce... tart and exceptional. Nachos' were good too -satisfying for an early afternoon snack.
Glad I came here I recommend this place. Was a walk in customer not knowing what to expect. Atmosphere is festive. And near the airport.
