Their reputation for a great fish fry is well founded: light batter and succulent fleshy cod that kept coming via the very attentive server Ethan as I kept eating. The strange thing was that the shapes and darkness of the coating changed with each refill yet they were all good. My friend got the Build a Burger and enjoyed it. I initially had a problem with my discount, but a manager straightened it out. Mother Road draft beer was the perfect accompaniment to the meal and to sip on while looking around at the taxidermied critters and nostalgic items like the model of Budweiser's Clydesdales.

Great little neighborhood bar and grill with friendly staff and good food. Nice menu with a good selection of appetizers, burgers , salads, and seafood . The portions and prices are reasonable. The beer is inexpensive. The atmosphere is dark and is a little bit divey. They also have a patio, daily food, and drink specials. Currently, there is a Groupon available to save 40-50 % off and good for food and drinks.

First of all, the service of this place was amazing. While the food took a while to come, the staff was super polite, our waitress was incredibly attentive and practically predicted our needs; she was amazing! The food was good, but their seafood was incredible! We had the walleye and the scallops; both super tender, delicious, and cooked and seasoned to perfection! The restaurant was a little too dimly lit for my tastes, but the decor was whimsical and unique. I don't have the best eyesight, and wish the steps up to the tables were a liiittle easier to see. I do think it would be helpful if this restaurant had some sort of label on the front door itself to help customers know which door was the entrance. We'll definitely be back!
