After visiting the Phoenix Art Museum with a friend we walked over to Guacamole's for a meal. The waitress we had was friendly. The food looked, and tasted amazing.
This is not your typical chips and salsa while you wait for your rice, beans, and carne asada type of joint. I felt like I was at someone's mother's house. Everything was home made, even the salsa. Look at the menudo I had!
chilaquiles in green salsa are delicious. both salsa and eggs had great seasoning and taste not heavy at all but very filling. staff is polite and friendly very calm even during lunch rush. definitely coming back and referring family and friends
Some of the best mexican food around. I love the street taco platter. The reason for 4 ☆s is because during my last visit, my girlfriend ordered a chimi & we were told the friers were off. After going back & forth a few times, the cook decided to make it. Who shuts off their friers at 6pm when they don't close until later? Anyway, the food & salsa are wonderful. Prices are fair for portion size. The restaurant itself needs more work & some new "umph" to make it a more inviting space, as it is pretty dark inside. Going from a Thai food joint to a Mexican food joint takes a bit of color & culture. There's hope for this place ambiance wise.
I just went there for my first time 2 weeks ago. I met the owner. She was a very nice lady. The food was delicious. I had an Al Pastor burrito. Its hard to find really good Al Pastor but thier's was really good. I will def be going back:)
Had a Happy Hour margarita made by Nathan. AMAZING! Bri waited on us and never had an empty cup. Yummy food! Had the Cochinito Pibil and Adbado Street Tacos! Oh my gosh. Salsa Verde was nice and hot! Great staff. Defiantly will be back for Taco tuesday, Wine Wednesday, and Margarita Thursday!
The food is GREAT. Homemade best mexican food ever, just like the way my family cooks. I have nothing bad to say and i am a very picky eater. All i can say is that am so happy this place is here.
I got the power omelet with chorizo and the hibiscus (jamaica) tea. Everything was delicious and made in house! Mexican food done right.
The decor is dated and in need of an update but the food is good enough to overlook that.
I've never written a review before, but I had to give this place props. Don't let the rundown diner appearance fool you. This is hands down the best Mexican food I've had in the valley.
We had the chimichangas and they were delicious! I am also very picky when it come to horchata because I don't like the grainy texture but this was very good. I am definitely coming back here.
