We decided to grab brunch and came across this lovely little diner. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the music was chill. Our server was attentive, but it wasn't just her. All of the servers worked together to make our experience great. The food was very tasty and came out quickly. We ordered the He-Man and Western Omelets and shared a pancake roll. Everything was delicious l, hot and flavorful. I would recommend checking them out if you are in town.
Fabulous food, just like a café should be, nice and quaint. Waitresses were very attentive and the cashier was quick to take care of check out. Like I said, the food was absolutely fabulous and quickly served. It’s too bad that they are not open for dinner, because I’m sure it would be a hot spot. They have many drink specials for a great price. I went with my friend around 1:00 in the afternoon, it was slightly busy, but like I said, we were taken care of quickly. I love this place and I will definitely be back.
Amazing place to come for breakfast! Staff are friendly and treat you like royalty there. I've tried a lot of their food and it never disappoints, they have everything from custom flavored waffles to any size of chicken fried steak you'd like. And speaking of chicken fried steak; it's probably the best menu item they have! So tender and warm, always cooked perfectly. The wait time can be a little annoying depending on the day, sometimes you got to wait out there for 20 minutes. But the wait is worth it for sure! Sometimes the seats can have crumbs but other than that the store is super clean. They also have a lot of seating, (one wall full of booths, including a curved booth in the corner which can fit about 5-10 people, bar seating which can fit about 6 people, another wall full of booths, and a room full of tables and booths.)
Fabulous and speedy service. Wonderful and filling food. Neighborhood cozy vibes. Shout out to Desiree for her wonderful attitude and speedy service. My husband and I’s first time here and we are thinking of making it our regular spot. On a busy Sunday morning, for a table of 2, we got seated within 5 minutes and got our order taken and food delivered all within about 30 minutes of being seated. Really great breakfast and lunch joint with a lot of fabulous options. Definitely coming back and definitely worth checking out.
This place is cute, it has a small town feeling, the food was good, coffee was really good and endless. The service could be better. Waiters seem to pay more attention to the regulars they knew. I had a side of French toast which was really good. And I had the veggie omelette with added proteins, it was very good. I will go check it out again. They had a nice outdoor space too.
I am absolutely throwing a high-5 Stars to Moon Valley Café! It's exactly what you would expect from a neighborhood cafe. No pretense, just great food. Had an awesome cup of chicken & rice soup (soup changes daily, this was a Tuesday). Then my burger and fries came out perfectly cooked med-rare. Shoe string fries were tasty. And, then came dessert- the special called for a slice of pie. However a diner had a piping hot cinnamon roll and my server graciously allowed me to substitute! Final note, the Diet Coke was perfectly mixed out of the fountain, a plus!
I've been here twice. Yesterday and today. I came back today because everything was great, to such a degree that I had to come back the next day.
I recommend the lobster roll and the crepes with vanilla yogurt.
This café from the outside doesn’t seem or give you the perspective that as you walk in how busy this café really is. Moon Valley Café has a very down home home fill to it, with a fast paste atmosphere that gives each patron the ability to choose to either eat out on the patio or within the café. They have fantastic homemade pies as well as cookies and other bakery goods as well as a variety of dishes to serve your needs whether it be breakfast lunch or dinner the moment we walked in. We were greeted by Junior who sat us down in a booth and brought us coffee and water as well as menus to the table. Desiree was our waitress who was very professional and extremely busy but the service was quick and the food was extremely exceptional in every aspect from the exceptional hollandaise sauce, to their home potatoes. The coffee was fresh each and every time we received top offs and they also serve a variety of mixed drinks for the patrons who would like to relax a little more as well. The price we paid for breakfast was roughly around $38 which is typical and average now a days, but for the amount of food as well as the exquisite taste of the food you can’t beat it. Moon Valley Cafe is a very nice café that each individual should try at least once. Thank you, Junior and Desiree for serving us, and the cooks for the preparation of great tasting food.
