It was close to PHX, had excellent food and the service was awesome. When ordering ask for mild spicy that will give an excellent flavor to your dishes. Great to see them busy early in the morning.

I got my food for takeout and sent a picture of it to my husband. I was thinking "wow! This bread is so big!". I enjoyed the entire bread to cool down of spiciness of the medium spice chicken masala 😂. When i was gathering the takeout wrappings up to throw them away i noticed the foil was way too heavy...? So i peel back the parchment paper and THERE IS ANOTHER WHOLE ONE! wow! I was shook.

Local small afghan restaurant with a good selection of dishes, generous portions, and delicious variations on dishes that are in other cuisines. I recommend the garlic naan if you get one of the curry-style entrees. Not actually sure if family-run, but has that energy (in a good way). Will be coming back!

The restaurant is very generous with the amount of food. They were huge! The lamb shank was my favorite. The lamb was very tender and fell off the bone with great seasoning. However, I was not very impressed with the goat Karahi because of the goat gamy smell.

Had a pleasant experience there. I was craving chapli kabab so stopped by. Chapli could be a bit softer but tasted ok. Chicken karahi was great. Naan is exceptional. Overall great experience.

When you are craving lots of food, bold flavors and new experiences go to Kyber Halal. We had the Chicken Biryani and Uzbek Pulao with a piece of garlic naan. I was blown away by the serving sizes!! You have to check them out!

It was my first visit but what a nice experience the food was amazing I ordered Kabob and for my daughter chicken also we got one Afghani Naan. Everything was cooked perfect
The qty is more than enough for two people. The staff felt like family. They were so friendly and kept checking on us for any need.
Definitely I will be going there again.

The best hummus in town in my opinion. Their chicken handi, amazing. Service is quick and most of all, the owners are amazing and super nice. You’ll always get good service here. I have people that live across town always want to go to Khyber when they come into town - it’s that good!

Being from the region it is very easy to differentiate between OK and the best food/hospitality, this place deserves more than 5 STAR (wish there was an option) the best Afghan and Pakistani Halal food and traditional hospitality comes with it in this place. I came from the airport just to eat here and do not regret the time and money I spent for this lunch.

Big portions, ecnomical, friendly staff. Went their with friends for lunch, their naans and Afghani dishes are worth a try, burgers and wraps are so juicy and yummy. For every age group, they got an option. Simply love their food. Recommended!

First time having Afghan food and it was amazing! The portions were huge and all their dishes were top notch. We tried the lamb shank with the afghan rice; the lamb was so tender and fell off the bone, the rice was very unique with carrots and raisins. The mantoo is a dumpling with a meat filling and a meat sauce on top, it was savory and very delicious. Highly recommend this place!

We order Chicken Boti, Lamb Kabobs , Garlic Naan, Goat Curry , Veg Biryani , Eggplant .
The Lamb Kabobs and Goat Curry were delicious. Highly recommended.
All dishes are under seasoned but goes well with flavored yogurt and seasoning .
Their Garlic naans are best in Arizona.
