Fantastic service and good food

Really enjoyed the decor of this restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The open layout made the noise level a little high. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this as a romantic date night destination. The chicken parmigiana was a little overcooked but had a nice flavor. The seafood ravioli special was very good.

My wife and I are celebrating the New Year by eating a great meal to start the year off! We returned to "Arrivederci", naturally. We were greeted fondly, even though they didn't remember us, as it had been a year since we last dined here. The lighting was still dim and the environment romantic and inviting. Our waiter Galen, described himself as an Irish boy from New Mexico. He was super friendly and described the daily specials with enthusiasm and transmitted his excitement about the food. I ordered one of my old stand byes, Pollo Parmigiano. Very flavorful and an abundant portion, served with penne pasta. My wife ordered what she had last time we were here, Salmon Vesuvio, pan sizzled king salmon in a lemon-white wine/saffron reduction with a touch of cream, served with penne pasta and vegetables. This fish was amazing! A bit of crunch on the surface, and extremely flavorful and almost creamy tasting on the palate. I ate about a third of her portion, it was difficult to stop! But first, we decided to have two appetizers, the "Fried Calamari", a calamari steak cut in narrow strips, breaded and deep fried, served with a spicy aioli sauce that had a good kick to it, and their miniature Neapolitan meatballs, 10, swimming in a spicy marinara sauce, "Meatballs Arrabiatta". We planned to be full, before we left this restaurant!  Yes, we left feeling quite full, with smiles on our faces, and no room for dessert.  
We returned two months later for another great meal.  This was our second time eating here this year. A Saturday evening about 6pm the restaurant was rather quiet except for a very loud family group of ten. We asked for a table as far away from them as possible. Our waiter was attentive and friendly and quite knowledgeable of the recipes of most of their dishes. He got very busy towards 7pm and left us for lengthy pauses. I'm glad we had our food before this happened. We ordered Chicken Cordon Bleu (Chicken breast, stuffed with ham and fontina cheese, breaded and topped with 4 cheese demi glace sauce served with rice and vegetables), and Cioppino dello Chef, which was a  
combination of clams ,mussels , calamari , baby clams and fresh fish in garlic red clam sauce over linguine. Unfortunately the rice on the chicken dish was cold, but we loved the the rest of this dish. My Cioppino was more than excellent! Tons of fresh tasting seafood, lovely sauce and perfectly cooked linguine. The bread, warm delicious focaccia served with olive oil and a dab of balsamic vinegar called out to us for two baskets. No room for desert. The glass of white wine was fresh, fragrant and had a rich taste. I take away half a star for the lapse in service toward the end and the cold rice, but since the food was so good I'll leave the 5 stars. Yes, we will be back again!

Excellente!. Many people drive by Arrivederci in Ahwatukee and have no idea what this hidden gem has. Excellent food, great service, overall a really cool restaurant. Definitely a locals favorite. The happy hour actually has fod that is good for you vs fried. Thanks Arriverderci for being local and supporting the local hungry folks.

Took advantage of a groupon deal for this place and didn't expect much but was very pleasantly surprised. My wife and I were greeted at the door by the owner and shown right to our table. Right away a bus boy brought two large glasses of water and delicious foccacia bread hot from their pizza oven...so delicious...our entrees, ossobucco for me, and the fish of the day for my wife, was perfect in every way. Very large portions and nice and hot. After dinner we went to their lounge next door and had a drink and then they had some live music. What a great overall experience!!! And prices were very reasonable and the service in the restaurant and also in the lounge was top notch!!!

My favorite restaurant it town. I love this place. The Chicken Parmesan is amazing. I order it every time. We even had them cater our Christmas Party. ( Chicken Parmesan of course).

Good, but.... I am an old customer and patron of this Restaurant and I've had mostly good experiences. Sometimes it's a hot or miss and sometimes it's a sure thing. I like a few things on their menu, such as the Lobster Ravioli, the Cioppino. Tonight I had the Veal with Porcini mushrooms and Risotto. A bit of a disappointment, mind you. The veal portions were smaller than before, the mushrooms were 90% regular white button mushrooms with a few traces of Porcini mushrooms, the Risotto was quite small, about a cup of it and it came with bland, steamed vegetables. One advice to the chef: Loose the steamed veggies or offer them as a side dish priced accordingly, increase the Risotto size to 2 cups and use ONLY Porcini mushrooms. Increase the price by a couple of bucks, if you must but don't throw the steamed veggies in there as a filler. The Cozze and Vongole appetizer was very good and so was the Ravioli Caprese (great and very fresh tasting sauce). The pistacchio gelato was ok, perhaps a tad too hard and not enough creamy.

We went on a suggestion from a coworker and actually enjoyed it. The appetizer was an eggplant dish that was very tasty. The entrees were good. I had the linguini with clams and although it had a bit too much garlic I liked it. Sonia had the cheese ravioli plus shrmip. She liked it a lot. We will return.

The food was excellent...again! The ambiance is great! Our daughter was visiting from CA, she loves Italian food and what better place to take her...she loved it! Our server on the other hand, was not so good. We had to keep flagging her down, it was impossible to get a refill on our water. After we lol 00 told her we wanted to order drinks from the bar, she walked away and didn't come back! After a while, we had to flag her down again! Then at the end, we were charged for something we didn't order and she says how did that get there? Really??? The only time she was attentive was when she brought us our check. Unfortunately the 4 stars does not include our service.

Excellent service and delicious food! Our server (sorry I forget his name), was super amazing and really elevated the experience! His friendly attitude and detail of the menu was amazing and very welcoming. We look forward to coming back. All the staff members were nice and waved hellos and goodbyes to our one year old and made us feel so welcome! Highly recommend the chicken parmigiana and the chocolate tiramisu is outstanding!

Arrivederci Trattoria is a hidden gem in Phoenix. It offers a variety of fresh pasta and homemade sauces. They also have a large wine menu where you can buy bottles of wine or just by the glass. Arrivederci Trattoria doesn’t offer a lot of space and often their is a wait. I’d recommend calling and reserving a table. They also have a place to sit at their big bar. Staff were super friendly, fast and fun. There was a strange odor in the back room and restrooms. Other than that the food was absolutely delicious and staff were so nice. They do have live music most nights so be sure to sit across from the bar to see it.

Our first visit here was wonderful! Because I'm gluten free, they were able to make the chicken marsala gf for me. I had a side of sautéed veggies and rice. My husband had pasta with marina and meatballs..serving size was huge so he was able to take some home for a 2nd meal. Great service and the cucumber water was so refreshing.

Visited for the first time with my husband. We ordered the shrimp squares to start (SO good) and then I had the cioppino and he had chicken cordon bleu. Absolutely delicious food and very attentive service despite them being busy. There was even love music on the night we went!

The food was great, and the portions were good sizes. We were there on a Friday night, and there wasn't an empty table or bar stool in the house. They had live music, and many of the customers seemed to be somewhat regulars. When fully crowded, it feels a little small and tight, but if you are looking for some good Italian or maybe looking to meet some of the locals, this is a great place.

Delicious food I will definitely be back again and again. All of their dishes were delicious. The service was a bit slow but i place the blame on how busy it is in here. It is a quaint homely environment. I will give it 5 stars if it is consistent in it's quality both on service as well as food.
