Great local breakfast place in Melrose. The food was pretty good and the service was great. Our waitress was very friendly and took care of some substitutions we needed due to food allergies. The restaurant has a cozy, home vibe and the dishes feel very homemade. We tried the Border omelette and they were nice to substitute turkey instead of Ham. Their croissant turkey club was also pretty good and I liked the seasoned fries a lot. The pancake was a little doughy, but it wasn’t bad once we tried it with syrup. Overall not a ball place for some good breakfast. We also took a cinnamon roll to go and look forward to trying it later! The place is a little older and doesn’t feel modern but it just adds to the charm of this location. Definitely prefer this place to other breakfast places in this street. There’s also plenty of parking around the restaurant and in the back.

We caught our flt from St. Louis at 5:20 am to Phoenix. We landed got our rental car and headed for Prescott. We were starving. We we looking for a breakfast place… Google came up with Denny’s that was close by. It was not our preferred place but we were hungry. So as were driving we saw a sign for Joe’s Diner… we turned quickly into there parking lot It had alot of cars in there lot so we said must be a good place. We got in and it was seat yourself and we just sat down and the waitress dropped off menus and ask if we would like coffee. She gave us a few minutes and came back and we ordered. It did not take long and our breakfast was brought to us hot,fresh and very yummy. This place found us .. and glad we stopped here… I had the light side 2 eggs toast and country potatoes. Bf has the strawberry waffle wrist a side of crispy bacon… everything was cooked perfectly and the potatoes were not plain they were seasoned very well.. very yummy. This place has won many awards though the years…

Food was good a lil pricey but I understand with this economy. Service was cool. If I'm that way I'll stop in.
