Great bbq spot located in an office building. Order at the counter and take it to the table from the registers. Really great options for everyone! I had the pulled pork with mac and cheese and fries. My friend had the brisket bowl with green beans and mac and cheese. Three different sauce options to choose from at the table. I liked it all.
I freaking LOVE this place! It's my favorite BBQ place right after Little Miss! The staff were so friendly when I went in to pick up a customer's order and then welcomed me back when I came to get my own food. They were very cautious with my dietary restrictions which I really appreciated! I got the sampler with sausage, pork, and chicken with sweet and mild BBQ sauce. Then for my sides I got buttered corn and potato salad. For dessert I got banana pudding without the wafers. The best part was it was all gluten free so I was able to eat it! This place is also super reasonably priced for BBQ. That's why I frequent here way more than Little Miss because it's cheaper, less busy, and way closer. I will definitely be a customer here for a very long time. The only thing I wish they did was adjust their hours to stay open later. When I start my new job, I'll only be able to come on the weekends because I get off too late to make it on time sadly.
I've eaten at some of the best rated BBQ joints in the country. Is this KC level BBQ? Not quite. Is this easily one of the best KC Style options around in the greater Phoenix Metro? Absolutely.
I was impressed - you know it's good when there's paper towels on the tables. What a wonderful place; I'll happily be returning for more delicious grub!
Oh my! I flew into the airport and my flight nurse said we should come here for a quick lunch while we were refueling. Couldn't have been happier! The meal is a bit expensive but it was worth every penny in deliciousness! Service was phenomenal. I will certainly be back!
If you've never been to Pork on the Fork, where have you been??? Some of the best BBQ you will have!!
We have picked up food from their food truck and we have visited the location in North Phoenix. The meats are full of flavor, never dry and always a generous portion. We have tried several sides but our favorite is the Mac n cheese and the fries.
Oh and the staff... amazing! Always friendly and very helpful when we can't decide what we want. The location in North Phoenix is always clean and has plenty of seating.
Overall a must try!!
Great food. I avoid the "mop" because i like smoked meat without sauce. But they smile thru all quirky request. 🤪 always a short line. They are a neighborhood secret. Yum
I had the Midwest Monster, and it was stupendous! Mashed potatoes were a bit salty, but the fries, baked beans, and Mac N cheese were delicious. 4.5 stars.
This place is near my work and it never disappoints. Good portions for the price in my opinion.
This place was FANTASTIC!! the prices are great, the meats are amazing, and the environment is pretty nifty.
EDIT - this place has changed. The portions have gotten smaller, the prices have gone up. The quality of the cook on the brisket seems to have dropped. As of 4/16/22 I'd say this place would be best used for catering as opposed to ordering a sample platter or bowl. The pork still kills, the sausage is great, and the chicken slaps. The brisket is hit or miss. Pictures include are 3/2, meaning three shots are from our initial visit, and the other 2 are from 4/16/22. You can see the portion differences.
Finally had a chance to try Pork on a Fork.
Found the ribs to be delicious & tender, half rack was a decent sized portion.
The Mac n cheese unfortunately left a lot to be desired, it was very cheesy but lacked any real flavor or zing to it ….pretty much just a basic side dish.
The BBQ beans were good, even better with some of their BBQ sauce added to it.
Overall not bad & a good second option to my main favorite BBQ joint in N PHX.
