Review Wild Thaiger - Phoenix

I used to eat here 15+ or so years ago when I lived in the valley long ago. Well, I've moved back and this is the first time I've been to this place in a long time. Quality and service is still very good. I didn't feel like dining in, so I took out. I ordered the half rack of ribs. It was really good. The meat was perfectly cooked and very tender. They put all of the sauces on the side, which I love for takeout. I already ate part of it, so here's the remaining that's pictured. Great portions, bang for your buck. Glad this place has not gone downhill.

We loved it. We started with 'dragon eggs' which were really cute and did resemble game of thrones dragon eggs. Fun. They were a meat ball in like won-ton covering. I had galee gai and it should have been quite a bit hotter for my taste. Menu said it was medium I'd say mild. But it was a nice yellow curry. My partner had peanut passion. Chicken with peanut sauce. Basically what they serve with satay chicken, but a lot of it. Really good as well. Oh, the atmosphere, typical Asian restaurant, with some great tiger paintings. All in all a fine meal.

The restaurant was clean, the staff were friendly, quality and quantity was spot on, and the food came out super fast! Pad Thai hit the spot for me. The ribs not so much... too sweet for my taste.

Cozy place with interesting appetizers and entrees. My husband and I came here for our anniversary and really enjoyed everything! They weren't super busy for a Monday evening and we were well taken care of by the staff. They have unique flavors and combinations for Their dishes, it made us want to come back to try other things! The dragon eggs were delicious I wanted to take a container of that sauce home it was so good! It's located in phoenix They have plenty of parking in the back. Definitely a good place to hit up!

Nice casual restaurant with inside and outside seating. Friendly staff and the food was delicious. Had the Thaiger ribs, meaty, moist and nice portion.

My husband and I stopped by to try this famous restaurant that was on Dinners, Drive-ins and Dives The staff is friendly and the food is amazing. This definitely is a place everyone should try.

I saw the Wild Thaiger on the TV show DDD on Food Network and knew I had to stop in. Life gets in the way but I finally made it and I'm so glad I did. Authentic Thai food at reasonable prices. Super friendly staff. I was met immediately at the door and asked if I wanted a high top or table? I was alone so I chose a high top in the corner out of the way where I could watch the operation. My ex wife's parents own a couple of Chinese restaurants in the valley so I like to see how a business is run. The front end and back end run smoothly and communicate. The food was hot and delicious. I had the Dragon Eggz and Mu Yang. My only wish is there were some mango sticky rice. I had some in Thailand and It's amazing. My server was attentive to every need but not at all bothersome. I'm so excited to return to try the rest of the menu.

So me and my friend went here 7/28 around 3:30 and there was plenty of parking available, the food was delicious, and the service was also quite good. Both the portions, and the presentations were good. The flavor, and the freshness was there, and the drinks!! Let me tell you, their cocktail selection was surprising and superb. The drinks were rich in flavor, presentation and strong(-in a good way), and affordable. We were just overall impressed with this place. Me and my friend decided we may be back. So, if you're looking for a place to have lunch before going back to work, or dinner or even looking for a place to celebrate an event this might be the place you want to try.

Great Thai place on Central. Unique classic feel with locals walking in you can tell its a neighborhood favorite. You want spicy, they will make it spicy. Great date place as well as business gathering. They have an outdoor patio facing Central for that evening metro feel. The chocolate cake was outrageous!

I come here from time to time because I am picky about the drinks they serve. They have a wide selection of drinks but regular brewed iced tea. They have flavored tea which I am not fond of and that is tie breaker for me. I don't like ordering soda but here I have too. Their soups, appetizers, and salads are pretty good. If you like ribs this is the place to try it. Their serving portions is on the small side. I ordered the pad Thai and there wasn't enough noodles in the dish. It was disappointing for me. I'm used to heaping amount of noodles for the pad Thai in other places. I remembered why I don't come here often. The atmosphere is trendy with art on the walls. Didn't hear any music playing. We did have a nice server and with a smile. It takes them awhile to come back to the table. So be ready to order when they ask you for your drink orders.

Warmly welcomed (i was by myself) within a minute - got seated right away. Kinda warm color lighting inside (not bright white light). Very comfortable with the A/C level - not too cold, and definitely not warm at all. Gentle music was playing in the background. The kitchen was viewable from the dining room which was pretty awesome to me. Got a Thai Iced tea within 2 minutes of ordering (the waitress was serving other customers their food before my tea, which i whole heartedly appreciate!). Took my order right away. 6 minutes later, they brought me my food! Warm and delicious... Mmmmmm - yummy! 10 minutes later, before i was done with my last two bites, they brought out the desert I ordered initially (i asked it to be brought out after my yellow curry was done eaten - I'm from Ohio, bear with my English). And just before i completed my desert, they brought my check out. They were so attentive - i never was in want for anything. I even heard a conversation with a customer about remembering their kid being in a car seat, and now they're driving on their own. It's got wonderful parking off street and is easy to get to. Loved this place

I enjoyed my food as well as the atmosphere. It's a small place but the service was quick and ambience was great. The Chicken Satay was amazing. I also recommend the Mi Dung. The veggie rolls were ok so next time I will pass on those. I would love to come here again to try some of their other menu items.

My husband brought me here for the first time, he said the food is so great and I am impressed. The only thing that ia missing in the food that I really expected is that the spicy. It's not spicy at all, we asked for the fish sauce with lot of chili and that save the food. I still recommended this place 💯👍.

Perfectly cooked food. Service was great and quick. I tried dragon eggs (both crispy and steamed) for the first time based on the reviews from google. It did not disappoint me. We ordered dragon eggs, Tom Ka Gai soup, Red curry, and Thai sweet tea (for two people). Nothing went wrong. The soups were served in one of a kind of Fire pots, which not only kept the soup piping hot, but made it look incredibly impressive.

Service was really friendly and attentive. The pork skewers with coconut sticky rice was really good. The Dragon Eggs were ok, they seemed a little dense in texture. Would return

Been here multiple times and enjoyed it each time. Most recently brought my girlfriend. To say how good the food is...we drove the 20-25 min just for it! Come experience the flavor bomb!!

I can't say enough good things about The Wild Thaiger. The food is delicious, the service is excellent and the prices are reasonable. It's a popular place so expect to wait a bit for a table. This is one of my family's favorite places and where they want to go everytime they come to visit. The MI Dang, Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Satay and Coconut Sticky Rice are fantastic. In cooler weather, it's nice to sit in the outdoor patio. We've never had a bad experience here. Would definitely recommend. Oh, and try the Dragon Eggs!

Amazing Thai food and great service! We had a party of 10 and had about a 25 minute wait since the restaurant is small and I didn’t call ahead. However, one of the waiters asked if we wanted water and cocktails while we waited. When we were seated, our waitress was very attentive and the food came quickly. I had the seafood Panang and the curry was delicious and flavorful. I will definitely be coming back here on my next trip to Phoenix!

Myself and my wife have eaten here twice on a short visit to phoenix and this has to be the best Thai food we've ever eaten all over the US, i'd even say better than Thailand where we live......Amazing food the best!!!!!

So we went here because of the yelp/google ratings. It was decent food. Ordered vegetarian pad Thai and the fat one. The pad Thai was good but for a spice level of one, was super mild, and spotty. Some bites had spice and some had none. The fat one had the same issue but had a level two spice, the flavor was not as good as the pad Thai. There was also an order of super soup, my daughter said it was delicious. The booth we sat in needed new padding and was very uncomfortable. You could feel the wood slat through the cushion.

Had to knock off a point this time for their poor performance when it came to seating us. We were first sat in the outdoor area only to be ignored for approximately 20 minutes; I finally got up and asked the hostess why we'd not seen any waitstaff. which prompted water service. Approximately 10-20 minutes later, we were told we were not going to be allowed to stay as the area they sat us in was closed. After another 10-20 minutes, I again asked what he hold up was as by now this was getting embarrassing as we'd highly recommended the establishment to our guests. So yes, we were finally seated inside after about an hour. After that, the waitress was excellent as was the food. They'd better square themselves away though, or they will start to lose business treating customers in this lousy fashion!

We were there for lunch on a Wednesday and got a table quickly. Ordered peanut chicken and the beef with vegetables and a side of sticky coconut rice. The food came quickly and was very good. I would recommend it based on our experience. Next time I will get two sticky rice sides!

Our experience was amazing! The food was creative and delicious and the service was impeccable....other restaurants should take some lessons from this delightful place. I recommend it highly! Try the dragon eggs and the Gai Katchu....i can't wait to visit again !

Great food and great service. Highly recommended. Some of the best Thai food I've had. We came back for dinner on Feb. 18. The Fresh rolls and Satay Starter were excellent. Also ordered the Pad Thai and Chicken Curry, both very good. Next visit I gotta try the hot pot!! Again great food and service!!

Can’t say enough good things about this place! Food was just like when we were in pattaya, drinks were strong and tasty, and the waitress was top notch! We will definitely come back again and again!!!!!!!

Stopped in sat night for our first Thai food experience . Food was amazing! Waitress with blue hair was very helpful and knowledgeable and attentive. Only negative was waiting to be seated. Stood there for almost 20 min, no one else in front of us, then someone came over to take our name, meanwhile quite a line had formed behind us. Other than that it was great!

We love stopping at Wild Thaiger whenever we are in Phoenix. The food is soooo good. We eat lunch and take an extra order home for later. Dragon Eggs - must try Muy Yang - everytime!

I went Sunday night February 18, 2018 with friends for dinner. We asked the server for a description of various dishes, At best we got one word descriptions. She clearly was not interested in helping us. We had no drink refills the entire meal. Upon getting ready to pay and leave the server disappeared for at least 15 minutes with our credit cards. Now I am going to have to put a fraud alert on my credit card because who only knows what she was doing with my credit card. We asked to speak to a manager which took another 15 minutes. We finally got someone named Dave, who was indifferent to our complaints. I will never go there again.

I absolutely love this place. The food is delicious! The staff is really friendly. We eat here at least once a week.
