Visited here twice this weekend- once for the Urban Ale Tour and then again for dinner. Hands down, best service I experienced during my Phoenix trip. Bar staff, wait staff, owners were all superb, especially as it was amazingly crowded.
The food and beer were great, highly recommend you do not leave without trying the Bavarian Pretzel.
Beer was cold, Food was excellent, Atmosphere was cozy! Fish & Chips highly recommended. A little pricey but not for the portion. Great interior too, all wood & classic old style, great music & a smoking patio! Service was also stellar.
Good Pub Atmosphere
The pub atmosphere is nice. The food was quite good, with a variety of choices beyond just bar food. Beware advertised prices may not be accurate. The server was pleasant.
We stopped in at Kettle Black just about a week after it opened. It was sort of empty, though I saw it filled up on later nights. I got the onion bacon jam burger. It was delicious, though it was more medium-well than medium as ordered. Fries were tasty. Well located by the sports venues--this place should do well.
Great pub atmosphere fish & chips really good pork belly sliders really tasty chicken club sandwich was well prepared. Try the beer flights well margarita was good. Dark wood typical pub atmosphere a welcome change from the usual bar food a step up for sure! Come enjoy the raucousness of a pub
I stopped by here for a early lunch on a weekday. Service was exceptional. I had the Reuben which was one of the better ones hive had in years. Tender beef and not too soggy. The wings were good but not amazing. Atmosphere was a little crowded but all in all a wonderful dining experience.

So far I’ve had wings, but that was a few years ago. The Guinness was on point. Good taps and a great pour. Whoever is running this place is making sure the quality of Guinness matters. 💯

Good food with reasonable price
Busy and crowded when I came, so loudness and longer service time were expected.
Came here after a Diamondbacks game. From the exterior, you wouldn’t expect this place to be so good! They food is really good, and they have a unique selection of drafts, including an irish cider, which was excellent. Our server was awesome and very knowledgeable. It's a good chill place. They are a walkable distance from almost anywhere downtown.

Definitely good food, good ambience and a nice place to end up for a weekend dinner! Ample of beer options to chose from. Glad they could prepare the hot toddy for us though it was not a part of their menu! Gets crowded during the weekends but the service was pretty fast! The wings were my favorite! The area surrounding gets pretty crowded during the weekends, expect a quick walk from your parking places, you may not get one close by!
Happened to be there during the Halloween weekend, was filled with all fun loving people posing with their best Halloween costumes. Right beside was a block party too with all those vintage Hot Rods in a Halloween touch! Surely a place where you should he on a weekend!
Good place to drop by and grab some food and beer. They have a modest selection of draft beer, and their food items (in my case, the Black Bean burger) was quite tasty. My buddy had the fish and chips, and they were also very good. Service here was amazing, and overall, this is a good place to try out if you're looking for pub food.
We love a good Irish pub because they are cozy and warm. This one is in a fun part of downtown, near sporting events and lots of activities. Many restaurants to choose from and chose it because we were pretty casually dressed, wanted comfy seating and affordable comfort food. It got the spot. I enjoyed the 2 different ciders: a pear one and a grape. The food was very good. The crab cakes were a nice appetizer, the 1 Street burger was good but the Reuben was delicious!
