We had friends in town from Minneapolis and we really wanted to spoil them. We made reservations for 1100 brunch. Everything as usual was perfect. Our waiter was amazing and the staff were incredible. We opened with cocktails recommend smoked trout dip and #1 Ahi Tuna crispy rice appetizers and the shrimp and grits was my absolute must have. All in all excellent and memorable food and company.

Very nice, upscale restaurant with good service. The food was good, but not spectacular, and for the price, I expected spectacular. The crab cakes were good but seemed to be missing something. The oysters were ok. The shrimp and lobster were very tasty. There was also an assortment of craft drinks on the menu. We tried a few, liked some, and didn't like some, but that is always the case with such things. I'd certainly go back and recommend everyone else give it a try.

This was our first time at Buck and Rider and it came highly recommended by a coworker for the crab cakes. The crab is 100% crab meat and lightly breaded with scrumptious roasted carrots. The sauce yummy.

I had the espresso martini so light and refreshing and my V had the Ace in the whole also delightful.

We have been to this locations a few times. We enjoy the ambiance, great service and food. The sushi is always fresh and the other shareable plates have a good variety to choose from. Great selection of oysters from East and West Coast as well as the Buck n Rider from Alaska..crisp and briny. Other items we have tried are the crab cakes, brunch items, and everything is good. They make a really good espresso martini to top it all off with dessert.

Food was amazing. Good recommendations from our waitress to try an old fashioned with a little sweeter taste. Forgot the name but it was good. We had oysters that were phenomenal but ate the too quickly to photograph. I will definitely be back. The shrimp scampi risotto was delicious!

I had an incredible time at this location. The Salmon was cooked to perfection with an amazing blend of flavors, while the Seabass was incredibly fresh and flavorful. I also tried the garlic brócoli and cauliflower w sweet potatos which was amazing. On the other hand, I had for the first time “church music” beer and I was surprised on how good it tasted. The vibe and service were top-notch too, making it a definite go-to spot for fantastic seafood in Camelback Rd

Another recommendation from our hotel concierge that was excellent. We arrived and immediately knew we were in for a special treat. The cars were stacked up for the valet with lines of people waiting out the door. It was a little intimidating at first but they had us seated right on time. The server was great, very informative and took the time to explain everything to these first time visitors. It was apparent that this is the place if you love oysters…we don’t. 😀 But we chose the chicken dish and the shrimp risotto. They were both excellent. This place has a lot of energy & a great vibe so I wouldn’t choose it for a quiet intimate dinner. We definitely enjoyed ourselves and will return.

We came for happy hour which is the back section/oyster bar. I wish the front patio area was included in happy hour so I could bring my dog. We still had a lot of fun and would definitely come back!! The oysters were freshly shucked, yellowtail roll was delicious. Dessert is not on happy hour pricing but I highly recommend the banana cream pie.

One of my favorite restaurants in town! We started with their amazing calamari, and then we had scallops with roasted veggies, and a filet with a king crab leg. Drinks included an old fashioned and a One Night in Babylon. Food and drinks were excellent, service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was fun and cozy!!

Went for Restaurant Week and had the offered 3 course meal. 1st course we chose the Buck &Rider Oysters. They were the smallest oysters I've ever seen served. The lemon wedge was bigger than the oyster, they're tasty but i wouldn't pay full price ($3.5ea.) based on size.
2nd course, NY strip steak was good, bbq ribs were tender & also good but nowhere is it noted that they will be spicy. They also put red pepper flakes on the side vegatables. So overall the meal had an unexpected spicy kick. Not really what we wanted in our food.
3rd course, Gelato desert was excellent.
Most likely won't return. Like the setting but the over all noise level can be high at peak dinner time. Doesn't really go with the low light, intimate ambience of the place. Staff was excellent.

Great happy hour! Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The food is amazing! The chicken & shrimp fried rice is some of the best I have ever had. The California Rolls and Oysters were delicious. The cocktails were on point! I would definitely go back!

From valet parking to check in, to wine, perfect happy hour lobster, fried rice, staff ... I’m hooked and will return over and over! Thank you!

Food was really good. Had lunch and enjoyed the lobster, oysters and of course the lemon meringue pie. I’m giving a 5 however I thought our server was very short with my mother who enjoys good oysters. She walked away while she was still talking to her. Not exceptable but didn’t complain. Also enjoyed the outdoor patio!

I was really excited to find another restaurant that had seafood. But, I was a little disappointed. They didn’t have much of a selection and their salad was completely plain. For the price you should’ve went to the salt cellar or Ocean club. One positive thing I do have to say is that the wait staff was very attentive. I noticed they were all women I don’t know if it was on purpose or not? LOLbut it worked and they were very cheery and nice ladies.

We order ceviche and it had only a couple pieces of fish and the rest was veggies. My husband ordered fish and chips and the quality of the dish was not there. My daughter ordered a crab salad and it was good but nothing wow!! I ordered a citrus salad and was ok. This is the third time we have eaten there and is the last one. We love Chelsea's kitchen and La Grand Orange but Buck and Rider can be disappointing.

Great experience! Met some dear friends for dinner and felt welcome from my first step out of the car by the valet and then the host at the door! Our server was also wonderful. I wish I had gotten her name. She had us wanting to order everything on the menu and was so knowledgeable-. Btw the food was also delicious! The Brussel sprouts are a must have. I had a spicy tuna roll - not a vey adventurous choice but I was impressed by the quality of the ingredients! I can't remember the last time I had lemon meringue pie... but I would go back just for this beyond yummy dessert!!!

One of the friendliest atmospheres next to their own Chelsea’s Kitchen to hang, talk with clients or friends. Not to mention their LGO beef and mixed libations really are a true hit. The rib-eye I ordered last night was the best I’ve had in years!
