The most authentic and flavorful, positively home made Cuisine. I'm thinking Mamacita is Columbian. Most exquisite flavors. Haute couture of Latino American Cuisine. Even the Guacamole is an experience! Over 100 Tequilas available and 50 Cervesa's. From stuffed Pablanos to flan, The Bario on 16th will dazzle you senses.

Do NOT miss the opportunity to enjoy this restaurant and it's authentic Mexican food & it's authentic friendly staff. The Asada and charos were amazing! Spicy ketchup pure awesomeness and just the atmosphere of the place. Made my trip so far. Gracias Barrio Cafe!

Holy Guacamoly!!! This restaurant is fabulous!!! We popped in before the World Series, and were blown away. Everything about it was wonderful. The staff was kind and attentive, and the food was unforgettable, and I love the artwork for sale and murals that take over every wall. I can’t wait to go back to Phoenix to eat there again! Keep up the good work!

We ate at Barrio sometime in their first year of opening, and it was exciting and stellar. This visit was nearly the same. The food was excellent and innovative, but did not live up to my memory from a few years back. That said it is well work a visit you won't be disappointed. The menu is diverse with numerous dishes that I want to return for, very creative chef. The staff is engaged and attentive

Loved the patio, the portions are big enough to share (for 2 people). Good service, parking was adequate. Only downfall was that we scheduled to go for happy hour as still listed and they were not offering it and mentioned how it's gone indefinitely, I found that sad to hear knowing how much more business they would attract.

I travel a LOT and have dined in a majority of the major airports in the US and typically I’m never wowed by American-Mexican style restaurants…until I visited Barrio Cafe in terminal 4 at PHX. It was recommended that I try the Enchilada Suizas and it was absolutely delicious and filling! I paired it with a custom made old fashioned with an Anejo tequila and bitters and lime and everything was perfect. Vert much looking forward to returning to try other dishes on their menu, which I’m sure is as delicious as this dish.

Definitely remembered the Triple D episode that featured this amazing little place. I totally agree with Guy's assessment of this place. The food is spectacular! This isn't your typical Mexican food joint. It's innovative, creative and refreshingly delightful. What we ordered surpassed all expectation in terms of taste and presentation. This is definitely a must visit when in one visits Phoenix.

Best choice I’ve ever for a birthday dinner! The service was impeccable and the food was amazing!! I loved the vibe and the cozy dining area. We were so impressed with the menu and had a hard time deciding on what to order because it all looked delicious! We saved room for dessert and had the very best flan any of us had ever tasted. Can’t wait to go back again!

Absolutely one of the best meals ever! The service was beyond phenomenal. The guacamole, is amazing and I definitely recommend. My mother who is visiting from Florida said a halibut dish rivaled the seafood she gets on the coast. The steak is out of this world. I’ve never had anything I didn’t like from here. Our server was incredibly considerate with my pregnant sister’s dietary restrictions and considerations. Best dining experience I have had for a while.
