First thing the entrance is hard to find there is no sign. So look for the wood parking in rear sign and go in the door below it. All the waiting staff was funny and energetic and amazing. This place has limited seating and is on the small side. Most of the food is cook over a wood grill so there is wood smoke in the air. They do a good job at venting it. But you will still smell like camp fire when you leave. I had the NY steak they were out of lobster so I Substituted bacon wrapped shrimp. The steak was perfect and had a cream sauce that was excellent. The shrimp was a little over cook. The side salad was good they only have ranch and mix it for you. My wife had the meat loaf and acorn squash and Brussels sprouts this dish is the reason we will be coming back. They put a little char on the vegetable. They do have a full bar and can make almost anything. Just nothing blended. The drink are not weak and reasonably priced. Over all we had a great experience and will be coming back.

Small, fun and somewhat hidden bar serving big cocktails, a broad food menu and all the beer you need.
My Stroganoff was spiced up and had beans in addition to the mushroom. The beef was pre-grilled, soft and delicious. I added a GCP just because.

They deserve a great review. Staff and service were excellent. Props to the Cooks behind-the-scenes because the food is delicious! I've always ordered the Bloody Mary which comes with a shot of beer 😉. Arrive hungry and hungover.

The atmosphere is great. Kinda dark and intimate. The food was hot, flavorful and huge. Our waiter was amazing. He took a moment to speak to us and answer all our questions about food and the PHX area. I had the Chimayo chicken and my mom had the chicken enchiladas. Both were great.

This hideaway is truly a hole in the wall. Unique seating in the back and dim lighting creates a cozy environment.
Our group ordered 3 different dishes, all lacking spices and seasoning. No drink menu, but offer a full bar. It's best when a place offers specialty drinks that the bartenders have perfected,my drink was far from that. Would recommend wine or beer here.

Went in for "happy hour" and ordered the $7 small plates special calamari along with the chipotle ribs over dirty rice. The calamari was perfect, but the chipotle ribs and rice were simply amazing. Some of the best rice I've ever eaten....and when paired with the chipotle rib, even better. Hats off!!!

A hidden gem!! The food was amazing, the atmosphere was super relaxing and The service was top notch. The only thing I wish they had that I didn't see on the menu, are local wines! Arizona has so many wonderful wineries, it would be great if more restaurants offered them! #SupportLocal Other than that, everything was wonderful. We will definitely be back!

The absolute best Southwestern breakfast I've ever had! We went there for Mother's Day breakfast and it was so nice and cozy. We were the only table there cuz we got there early and the atmosphere was amazing! Food was incredible and very fast service. The "pour over" coffee was exceptional!

We had a bad experience at another restaurant so we tried Dick's Hideaway to salvage the evening. It was kind of crowded but the service was impeccable, the food was amazing (best cheesecake I've *ever* had!), and we left feeling like we found our new favorite restaurant.
