I’ve never had Meade, ever But I’ll tell you what, after trying this magical elixir I’m buzzing with delight! The fine honeybee lovin’ folks here at nectar creek do an amazing job, so many varieties and flavors, all so unique, Meade that taste like wine, Meade that has a slight note of whisky, Meade that taste like honey, which is what I imagine the Og Meade flavor to taste like. It is said the Egyptians used to to drink Meade, we all know the Nordic folk did. We celebrated Meade day, and they had all sorts of great brews games, events. Outside patio is DOG FRIENDLY with dog treats and dog water. A great discovery and I will certainly be back. Oh, the food, the food is delicious, don’t just go for the drink, go for it all!

Has become our favorite roadside stop when en route to Newport. Fabulous session meads in several flavors. Growlers to go too.
Staff are super friendly and very knowledgeable. The food is fantastic with a ton of farm-to- table choices: apps, salads, soup of the day, and sandwiches with their fresh smoked/bbq meats. If you can, save room for the daily dessert - pure ecstasy!

Great option for local mead, tastings from other local producers (hard cider and wine) and tasty food. They have indoor and outdoor seating, bar and a small private room for events.

Very limited seating area to go with the rather large parking lot, but there's a sizable outdoor area that doesn't yet have any tables as of February 2018. The food was wonderful and greatly exceeded expectations. The 8 mead tasters that we had were all amazing (2 flights, 4 tasters each). Highly recommended, especially if you've never tried mead but know that you like cider. Just try to avoid the busy times.

I've been drinking Nectar Creek Mead for a couple of years so I was very excited to visit their tap room in Philomath. Their selection is similar to the varieties you find in grocery stores, and they had a number of tap room exclusives. Their prices on food we're decent, and their prices on Mead was a lot cheaper than I expected (~$5 pint). If it weren't so far away from Portland, this would be my new go-to place for a post-work drink and meet up place with friends.

Great stop on the way to the coast. Lots of gluten free options, mead, cider and cocktails. Local beers on tap too. Outdoor dining, games and delicious healthy food.

If you came for the Mead you won't be disappointed. Their meads are great! I ordered the bread and thought it was a little over priced for what you got. But, the ambiance of the building was lovely and they brew some top notch drinks.
The building is only 2 or 3 months old. I am hoping they add some outdoor seating, maybe a firepit and some games. It would really set them apart and make it an even better place to hang out if they did.
I will definitely be back.
