This store has been around for over 35 years and it's had the same owner since day 1. There is a reason why they have been in business for that long. Everybody in the area knows them and they treat us like family. They really are a benefit to the neighborhood. I have been short on money when purchasing and they always say "Next time, dont worry about it". THey are the nicest people in the neighborhood.

I do enjoyed this place. It has a great selection and the people there are really pleasant to talk to. Their sandwiches are good a packed with meat, but the use meatball they use are right out of a bag and their sausage hogie is just a hotdog. Their coffee is surprisingly good for a shop like this.

This place has some unfair reviews I think. The woman who is usually running the counter is always very nice to me. Their prices on things I think are generally fair. I've never had their deli MTO food before so I can't comment on what that's like. I will come here often for things I don't have time to make a trip to the store for, like pasta sauce and cold drinks. They also have Ben & Jerry's ice cream in the freezer by the counter. They're fairly typical convenient store prices - you might end up paying a bit more compared to a grocery store but that's pretty much any convenient store. They sell rolling papers but not the little filter papers. They also sell the more obscure American Spirits - like the turquoise pack. They're a UPS access point location and I've had my packages delivered here many times. Sometimes by choice and other times UPS will deliver them here automatically if you're not home to take the delivery. This actually works out to be really nice as I get an email saying it's been delivered there, then I just walk in and say "package," point to my name on their list, and then give ID to confirm, sign for the package on their device and I'm good to go. The man and woman who run the store don't seem to speak English very well but it's never really been a problem explaining what I want. It is a cramped store and it's a little awkward the way the isles are positioned, but it works.
One important thing - I leave for work early and I've never seen them open before 9am. I'm not sure when they actually open, but it's definitely never before 9am. They seem to close whenever they want. A few times I've walked there around 8:30-9pm when they are typically still open, and they're already closed. But other nights I've walked there at 10pm and they're still open. I think they just play it by ear some days. Sometimes they'll randomly be closed in the afternoon/evening for like 20 minutes or so - they put a note on the door saying when they'll be back. I think it's just the man and woman who run the whole shop, so maybe they're getting a delivery/stocking or just getting lunch or dinner.

Overpriced for real I'd rather go to ALDI's

This place has a minimal selection of products at twice the price of everywhere else nearby. The staff is always rude, and the deli products are sub-par considering you can walk a block in either direction and get better choices with better ingredients and better service. Truly this is a last resort establishment.

Cramped store with terrible prices. They might occasionally have what you need, but you'll pay for it.
