Had an awesome time at LaTao. It is AYCE hotpot and you can choose to share or have your personal hot pot. Great variety of different stocks to choose from, from spicy to mild. Quality was definitely there - very delicious, rich and savory broths with tons of choices for ingredients. Portions may be a tad smaller but it helps avoid food waste and you can keep ordering more. Service was excellent and they were very very attentive and patient especially since we had a few first timers in our group. Great place to hang out and just enjoy some good food as a group or family. Note that on weekends you do pay the dinner price but since it is AYCE with the full dinner menu and the ingredients are of great quality it is definitely worth it. 👍😋🤤

Got all you can eat barbecue here and it was delicious. They have a lot of options to order and the sauce bar is a nice touch.
It was very busy when we went on Friday night. Without a reservation we had a 30 minute wait. They also weren't super attentive with the service, but the food was fantastic and made up for that.

It was a fun experience. Had a nice sized group of friends which made it even better. The food was fresh and we enjoyed it. Try the sauces bar. It adds more pizzazz to the meal.

Best hot pot.So many choices of broth, vegetables and meat. They also have agreat BBQ option. You can have either or both and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this place

Normal hot pot setting, menu is a bit confusing and staff is not much help. However once you figure it out by yourself and order they bring the food out and you cook everything yourself. The only problem that I have with this restaurant is the prices are a bit outrageous for the bland soup they provide, also after leaving a decent tip on the table one of the workers followed my party outside to ask for more money. The bill was 100 dollars for 3 people the 20 dollar tip was enough for what the wait staff has to do. I was not asked for a refill the entire time I was there and really you have to hold your hand up like a toddler for any staff to come back around to your table. Overall I would say to skip this place you can find way better options in the square. Enjoy!

All you can eat hotpot. Could come with a group of friends (and try to eat more than you can :) (detail see below)
Ps. Some of the dishes could run out very fast (because they are good) so maybe go early
Ps. Single pot / double pot / triple pot cost the same money but triple pot can’t have sofa so your call
- meat quality varies. Some are super soft some are not
- sesame sauce is diluted. Flavor not strong enough
+ many varieties to choose from which is awesome

Don’t recommend this place. Poor service, the women bathrooms were in bad condition, the portions were very small especially the meat during the first serving but we understood it may be to avoid food waste. But the second time we asked for some more beef they brought us 5 pieces on a side plate and were basically rushing us out. I think their strategy is to ignore people so that you get frustrated and leave and it definitely worked because we both couldn’t wait to get our check. The place was mostly empty too so it was very odd behavior.

This was my first Hot Pot experience and I am in ❤! It was all so delicious, and I knew my husband would try something unique, and he did. He had lots of interesting choices... from pig brains to intestines and he chose duck feet 🤢 I had things I am familiar with; steak, shrimp and noodles; all so delicious! I will be back next time I'm in Philly!!! Customer service was outstanding. Servers had so much patience with Hot Pot novices 😁
