The goat karahi was soft and tender. Must try if you like spicy and goat! The spice level were made to order. The sauce in the okra masala was good but okra was a little chewy. Maybe next time I would try a different vegetarian dish instead of okra. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere is great. We sat outside so sometimes the septa train would make some noise passing us. I would definitely recommend this place for indian cuisine!

Great little Indian place in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia. The location is a little off the beaten path under the overpass, but still a worthwhile trip!
BONUS: there is parking onsite so no need to search for street parking!
We went for lunch and the staff was very friendly and attentive. We got the papri chaat, paneer pakoda, and lamb biriyani for our meals. We each also ordered a chai (hot and cold) with our meal.
The food was excellent with all the right notes of Indian spicy without being too overwhelming. I would recommend the mango chutney! The chutney is sweet and tangy and is a nice compliment to any dish. I think the chais were decent, though would prefer a little more masala - will make it a note to ask for this next time.
Will be planning a repeat visit soon to try some of the other offerings.

Good Indian curry and naan in the neighborhood. We usually order takeout/delivery. The dining room was empty the two times we've been there and the place was too dim and quiet to feel welcoming.

Great food and the staff was very friendly. My wife got the Baingan Bartha and I got the Paneer Tikka Masala, recommendations from the waiter and both very good. Only thing I would suggest for the restaurant is to invest in real cups for hot beverages instead of just paper ones.

Amazing Indian cuisine. Perfect for carryout or delivery! They have a very casual eat in experience with a pretty okay environment, staff is very nice but not spectacular

We enjoy to go out. Last night we found this excellent place which we didn’t know before. We passed a lovely experience there with exceptional food and a well-trained stuff and a talented chief cook. We put this restaurant in our phone list and we will no doubt come back soon. We highly recommend.

had placed an order on Sunday for 4:30pm thinking they were open, only to get down there and realize they weren't open until Tuesday. I found it kind of weird that aside from the date change, their website didn't really alert me in any way that they were going to be closed that day, nevertheless that my order would be fulfilled two days later. I tried to call them on Tuesday thinking that there was probably someone around to either edit or cancel my order but .... no answer. Emailed them, no answer. Messaged them on Instagram, no answer. Understandably I totally screwed up, but what if I was no longer able able to pick something up? I had placed the order for 4:30pm, and wasn't able to get down there until 6:00pm on Tuesday because I work and wasn't able to reach anyone. It was really bizarre.
I decided to try the Salted Caramel Dalgona Coffee which a twist on the viral Dalgona Coffee and their famous Budino dessert and if I'm being honest... it was okay at absolute best. I think the hype was too big to transfer the legendary aspect of the Budino to a coffee drink. If they crushed the ice versus left it in large cubes I think it would've been better, but it was gone in about 3 sips and mostly ice chunks. I would definitely suggest that (after you get your pictures of course) you mix it up so that the salted caramel isn't just sitting in top, rather, evenly distributed.
Overall experience with the restaurant was lacking as well as the drink. When I arrived for the pickup, the guy even noted that it said 4:30pm and when I explained that I had tried to call and couldn't get ahold of anyone he half chuckled and said "oh yeah, sounds about right." Like what? That's so weird.
I've only ever eaten at Barbuzzo once, just for dessert so obviously this experience does not compare. Maybe pick up the phone though.

Went there on a business lunch a few times. Food was great! Last time I went, we saw roaches everywhere. 2 crawled on our table and one on the front counter. We laughed it off and didnt make much of a fuss. We did notify the staff and they awkwardly apologized. It didn't seem sincere. This was in the middle of winter. This place has a big roach problem and they need to fix. I would like to come back but I won't be for a long time until they fix that. And apologize to your customers
