Rosario’s is hands down my favorite pizza in the city. I know the regular places, this is better. The Mexican pizzas are a must try. My favorite is La Chicana. I love the chicken mole burrito, nachos, hoagies, and empanadas too. Honestly prob order here more than I should but everything is so good. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed. Rosario’s also catered my housewarming party and I order them when I have friends/family over and don’t want to cook
I love their pizzas, which have a unique Mexican twist. it always hits the spot.
In addition to their pizzas, Rosario's also serves a variety of traditional Mexican dishes. I've tried a few different things on the menu, and everything has been great. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generous.
I highly recommend Rosario's. You won't be disappointed.
I have had this place on my radar for some time and finding myself finally in the city one day, I decided to visit and try out their al pastor pizza. My bf and I love al pastor tacos, so we decided to give the pizza at Rosario’s a try. The spot is small but did have two small high top tables inside and a counter along the window. We waited around 20 minutes for a pie of the al pastor. The young lady who took our order was nice enough. We got our pie along with 2 sodas and decided to sit on the outdoor table, since the weather was nice enough to do so. My bf was not crazy about it, I thought it was good although I wish it had a little more of the toppings (more meat)…Overall, good flavor. We did see some other items on the menu we’d like to try so we def will be back soon to check those out.
Rosario’s has become my go-to for pizza delivery in Philly. This is the best pizza I’ve had in Philly, and I’ve tried a lot. Mexican style pizza is a unique and genius concept! Their American style pizzas are also delicious.
The crust is absolutely perfect every time - so flavorful you wouldn’t dare toss it! Great quality, fresh ingredients and loads of toppings. Order the La Chicana pizza - you will be forever changed.
Fries are also delicious, esp with cheese whiz + add bacon. They absolutely do not skimp on toppings here! Thank you for doing what you do - please don’t change!! There’s a lot of love here.
EDIT: I tried the burritos today and they are out of this WORLD. We got the pastor burrito and steak burrito. They are HUGE, the size of your head. So much meat inside!! I am so so happy to know of Rosario’s and the clear effort and pure love they put into this incredible hidden gem in Philly.
Another Edit: Tried the cheesesteak today - it’s good!
I am not one to randomly rave about food or give 5 stars across the board. This place deserves it. The food is incredible the service is lively and fun and the atmosphere feels like you are getting tacos/pizza from your friends house (in the best way possible).
Easily my favorite pizza in the city. When I first moved to South Philly and checked them out I had doubts about the all Mexican pizzas, I feel like it’s hard to do that kind of fusion right. But every single one is amazing, crazy. I order from them all the time and they never disappoint!
Great pizza, great Mexican food. Easy system to order and pickup. A nice local gem that will never let you down.

I got the Mexican cheesesteak. By the powers vested in me by the Philadelphia Inquirer suggesting I may be the authority on cheesesteaks, I declare Rosario's Mexican Cheesesteak to be renamed to the Mexican ‘party in your mouth’ Cheesesteak. The beautiful thing about this cheesesteak is that it has a whole lot of Mexican Fiesta going on but the Cheesesteak roots of meat and cheese do not get lost in all the festivities. Very nice balance of ingredients. The roll, unfortunately the roll was a whole different story. I don't know if I want to kill the roll too badly considering what's going on and they're probably having a tough time ordering rolls since they don't know how many people will be ordering cheesesteaks. So I gave the roll a few Corona sympathy points. Very good Cheesesteak experience.
For all who love burritos and cheesesteaks. You no longer have to choose between them. Rosario’s has completely reinvented the cheesesteak and you have to try the Mexican cheesesteak. Here is why. Avocado. Black bean purée. Chipotle mayo? On there. There are onions. And yea… it’s still a cheesesteak. Get ready, cause you are in for a treat. Enjoy.
I've been wanting to try this place for over a year based on food blogger JLJUPITER recommendation. I tried the Mexican Cheesesteak and it was really good. All the ingredients were tasted in every bite and the sandwich was loaded with flavor. Totally worth the 30 min drive. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I wasn't able to meet the owner Margarita. I will definitely be back to try other items.
