The pizza is delicious. The owner, Bobby, is an extremely nice guy and has awesome plans on how to continue to improve the pizza shop. Everyone that works there is friendly and whenever I order delivery, it gets to me with the right order in a very short period of time. One of the best pizza places in Philly. Highly recommend.
This pizza shop was recently bought by the owner of Karma Indian restaurant on Market Street. I’m not sure it’s on their official menu yet, but I just had an Indian Butter Chicken pizza and it was amazing! It had all the flavors of one of my favorite Indian dishes, but in pizza form. Mind=blown. Can’t wait to see more crossover menu items!
Remember when you were a kid and wanted takeout and your mom said she could make a burger just as good? Well, this place is better than that! I ordered the Burger Deluxe and was glad I brought it home to eat so I could wash my hands between bites of the outrageously delicious sloppy mess I made as I gobbled the wonderful creation. The bun was toasted, the cheese melted, and the fresh tomato and purple onion slices stacked on the perfectly cooked 100% all beef patty should have been savored. Try it, see if you can control yourself.
There are some pizza places nearby that can be a little cheaper, but Uncle Nick’s is definitely worth the price! My favorite thing about the place is their pizza crust; it’s honestly the best around. Service is always quick and pleasant and it is close to many other shoppes along Girard Ave along with accessible transit routes such as the 15 trolley and both the 7 and 48 bus routes.
The best slices in brewerytown Nick don't screw around with his slices & there much better then pizza dad's. I recommend the bacon chick ranch & the staff is friendy the place is clean & they deliver too.
We finally tried this local pizzeria, & all day breakfast spot not far from us. We had delivery which arrived as anticipated, but the real prize was the food. A truly excellent veggie pizza, the sauce was robust, the veggies plentiful, and the crust was perfection. Accompanying this was an Italian hoagie – really delicious and worth the caloric intake! And then there was the house salad with chicken – easily enough for two or even three. So we can only say – what took us so long to experience this Brewerytown gem? Next we have got to try their breakfast menu. If it is anything like their regular menu – we’re in for a treat! So try Uncle Nick’s on Girard – you won’t regret it.
People write bad reviews for such petty reasons. Uncle Nick's is, and has been, an excellent spot. If you're friendly to them, they're friendly right back. Seriously good people, good pizza, and a nice neighborhood spot.
New to the neighborhood, I use to eat Uncle Nicks mozzarella sticks LITERALLY EVERYDAY until I noticed the hole in my pocket from me eating out so much haha!! And must I add, the sauce to the sticks has a veryyyyyyyy tasty flavor to it as if they season it or something. Great price, great food. And great service.... !!
Great food and prompt service. Like all businesses, they make a minor mistake every now and again but they're quick to resolve any issues and shouldn't be looked down because of it. I've been going to them consistently for their pizza and burgers for 3years now and they've never let me down.
We love uncle nicks pizza! FYI they do a fluffy sort of crust. The Hawaiian and buffalo chicken are our favorite specialty pizzas but the plain is where it's at. Like, we could eat it every day!
