No. 1 China is the best Chinese takeout restaurant in Philly. It is consistently fantastic and unmatched. And the delivery time is incredible. Never longer than 45 minutes during a busy time frame. If I could give 6 stars, or even 7, i without a doubt would.

The guy who said he doesn’t know how this place doesn’t get closed by health inspectors is off his rocker. Have you ever been to a Chinese place in the city? Everyone knows, the nicer the Chinese place (talking about American Chinese) the worse the Chinese food and vice versa. Other reviews have similar thoughts as this guy and that’s the reason for the low ratings. It’s interesting that on Grubhub this place has almost 5 stars. I bet you’d be surprised what the inside of a lot of your favorite places look like. This is a perfect Chinese food spot, they make everything and they make it how American Chinese food should be.

A very nice takeout Chinese food establishment for very good Chinese food. The staff are very accommodating for special requested items such as light oil extras and other things that require out of the ordinary preparation or ingredients. The place is very clean and the food is good.

I was visiting and staying at the holiday inn on christopher columbis blvd. Ordered general tso chicken and beef fries rice. Best Chinese food I have had in a while. I come from ocean city MD and this place beat out anything around here.
