Honestly the best pizza I've had in South Philly. Fresh, amazing, and they were so nice. Definitely making this our go to.
I had seen some positive posts about this place but my goodness I was not prepared for how good this pizza was. Salad, wings, all delicious and came quickly. Will def be ordering again.
This place is awesome! A real Point Breeze gem. I noticed the place is actually open much earlier that 4PM which is great! Pie is awesome and they gave me a free glass of wine and a complementary cannoli. Check this place out!
One of the best cheesesteaks I’ve had in philly. The bread is seeded and has a nice coal crunch to it which I appreciated so much. The pizza has a nice coal taste with a well done crunch. My new place to visit
We’re so pleased with this place! We recently moved into the neighborhood and were excited to see a pizza place nearby… it was actually pretty great 👍 quality, Jersey style pizza that was made quickly for an affordable price. Didn’t try anything else but this will be our go-to spot for weekend pizza
First time ordering from Mattei Family Pizza and my family was delighted. The wood-fired oven pizza does the job. All three pizzas were delicious, flavorful and the wings couldn’t be better. The guy over the phone was very kind and friendly, (big plus after having had many bad experiences) very fair
Hands down best pizza I've had in Philly.
They use a wood fired oven and the flavor comes through in the crust.
Also ordered some fries for my kids and the fries are almost identical to Five Guys fries, really good!
Haven't tried anything else from here yet but I'm sure it's on point.
Really enjoyed our first order! I like the potato and could even use more rosemary (the addition of sausage was excellent). I think next time just sausage and pepperoni would be good too since the plain sausage pizza was so well-seasoned. Excited to find such a great place nearby!
Their pepperoni pizza is as warm and memorable as the staff. Its my new go-to and it doesn't hurt that its a block away. Delicious pizza, moderately priced, welcoming and quick customer service. What more can you ask for?

Best pizza in southwest Philly, or all of philly for that matter. Real wood fired oven, awesome ingredients and great prices. And the cheese steaks are also a 10/10, so far everything I've tried has been. I cant recommend this place enough.

Gerry and Angelo made Point Breeze’s food scene that much better! This pizza is delicious. Gerry has a creative concept and Angelo is pure entertainment.

Some of the best pizza you will find in Philly. You would be hard pressed to find a restaurant with a more classic take on Italian pizza. The pizza comes out in minutes and the fresh ingredients really add a lightness to what is often a heavy food. We highly recommend!
Pizza is delicious and the owner is so friendly. Quickly prepared and safe hand-off when I picked up. I've come a few times and recommend to all who live in Point Breeze!
