Dolce Pizza

This is an update from 2 years ago. I have been coming here for years, before the sons took it over. The pizza dough is always fresh and the sauce is always really good. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the dinners. The problem is that it's not being kept up lately. Come on Mike, you have to clean up the place. It's getting pretty filthy. The salt and pepper shakers have an 1/8 " crust on them. The bathroom was closed and the other one was filthy. I do love eating here but it's starting to get gross. Sorry man.

Delicious homemade food. Some of my favorites include the Mozzarella Carrozza (grilled cheese bread with a side of mariana) Very comforting, as well as the garlic knots. I also like their pizza which is thin crust and well done. My favorite is the Margherita Pizza. They also make homemade pastas, and some of my favorites are the lobster ravioli, and the pasta carbonara made with gnocchi. It certainly isn't low fat food that's for sure but it's great comfort food and delicious for a once in a while treat.

I’ll start by saying I’m ridiculously picky, and rarely give a 5 star review. This place though? I’m amazed with each delivery order we place. We’ve tried the pizza, cheese steaks, chicken parmigiana, fries, mozzarella sticks, chocolate cake, zeppoles... I’m sure a few other menu items too!! This place is about 10-15 minutes away with traffic, and somehow they manage to get the food here super fast, and literally still steaming hot! The delivery drivers are beyond polite and always incredibly nice and grateful. They actually bring it into the apartment building! The food itself is really great quality. The portions are generous, and food is cooked properly. We’ve only ever had one incorrect order (it happens) but they fixed it quickly. This really has become our go to spot for delivery. Maybe one day we’ll actually make it into the restaurant!
