If you want seafood in philly, and haven't been here then you're crazy !! This is the american dream- hard working people, excellent food, and a place that is still only for those in the know. Support businesses which value their customers, and this place definitely earns that badge. Read below for the full review. The food - i usually start with the appearance, but I really want you guys to know how special the food is here!!! Lets start with the fact that EVERYThing is made from scratch and fresh. What this means is the food isnt fast food, and is put together with love. The crab, the scallops, are all without fillers. The veggies are all flavorful, and everything comes on mild or spicy variants. A plate like what they offer would easily be double anywhere else, for half the quality. The appearance - this is a typical Philly small business with extraordinary heart, quality, and customer service. If you were driving by you might miss it, and if youre looking for a big fancy restaraunt, youd also miss it ! The outside and the inside is under updating, and provides customers with barebones, but manages to give a peek into the heart of the operation. There isnt anywhere to sit yet. For those of you that are bougie in nature, dont miss out on the amazing food because of the location or appearance. You'd be doing yourself a disservice . Overall - man i cant say enough. What an amazing culinary experience! The workers are kind and responsive, the place is black owned and operated, and the food is absolutely outstanding.

This place is hands down amazing from the sea food- which they give you large portions. To the soul food . I have the fried Whiting platter with mac and also cabbage everything superb

Delicious as always. Been rocking for 20 years and these brothers food is always on point. I ordered 2 combos and the mussels. Tasty and not over seasoned. Will go again

Awesome food, awesome staff. I have been eating here for over 10 years now. There is not one complaint I could make. I usually do the snow crab clusters combo... just writing this review is making me me want to plan to eat it for diner tonight lol.

When i was pregnant with my daughter who is now 10 this was my favorite spot. Now that im pregnant with my next daughter it still is. I called in with a customer order because I needed to feed 6 ppl and wanted a family meal. Once i told them what i wanted they gave me a custom deal (very much worth the price) and even threw in a little extra food. Food was ready in less then 20 mins. They perfectly wrapped 4 tins so that butter leaked on Nothing (and per my request there was extra butter) and brought my order right out to me as I arrived. Ive had disappointing seafood from a variety of places but NEVER here.
