We had a Batter and Crumbs chocolate peanut butter cake for my husband’s birthday recently ! It was phenomenally good tasting beyond being a work of art. Very decadent looking but very light and every bite leaves you begging for more!!! Highly recommend this wonderful company which seems to be soaring to the top of the vegan baking scene in Philadelphia. And take my word for it; You do
not need to be vegan to love their creations!! And I should also add that this duo is super responsive and accommodating to their customers!!

I've been coming to B&C for years now, and recently got my wedding cake from them as well. They are always very kind, friendly, and helpful. The coffees are always tasty as well as the food and sweets! I love how they are pet friendly, always participating in clothing drives and putting up notices for pets looking for forever homes. The clean and spacious bathroom is also a huge plus. Overall it's a very comfortable atmosphere inside. 10/10 recommend.
This place is the bees knees. Batter and crumbs is an all vegan bakery and cafe. We live in the neighborhood and are weekly (sometimes even twice weekly) regulars. They have a seasonal drink menu and a ton of fun baked goods to try. If you're in the mood for a latte or two these cool cats are the best at slingin beans. Also, and this might be weird, but make sure you stop in the bathroom for some funky and adorable artwork. Many crumbs to you! ❤️
THEY ARE AMAZING!!! As someone who is lactose intolerant, it saves me a lot of work when I'm looking for pastries. The staff are so very friendly and is wonderfully designed. If you're in the south philly area, do yourself a favor and come on by!
The ability to find good vegan food in the city has become much easier and Batter and Crumbs is a prime example. Not just good though - great! I personally love their breakfast sandwiches and my opinion is backed up by others, including non-vegans who just love good food. Also, they’re desserts/sweet stuff - awesome! And the atmosphere there can’t be beat. Staff there is always friendly and welcoming. Love B&C!
What an amazing experience I had! I ordered my own birthday cake (because I’m an adult and can do this,) and when I came to pick it up, they asked if I wanted anything written on it and were so sweet about taking the time to write the message out. I had a chocolate croissant while I waited and had a perfectly lovely time. And then the cake turned out to be one of the most delicious, decadent cakes I’ve ever tasted. My party guests went wild. This is my new favorite cafe!
My all time favorite cafe and bakery in South Philly with the cutest atmosphere! It’s such a feel good space, with great energy, the cutest decor — you must checkout the restroom, IYKYK, amazing staff and the tastiest coffee and treats ever!
My favorite place in Philly & even if I didn’t live a few blocks away I think I’d still be here every day! It’s a vegan dream.

We have loved Batter and Crumb for a long time for vegan breakfast sandwiches and coffee cake, but they recently made a cake for a birthday for us and it was incredible. They were so thoughtful with their designs and reasonably priced. We LOVED it. We would definitely recommend this place!!!

Batter & Crumb is an absolute gem of a vegan bakery! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the most delightful aroma of freshly baked goods. The selection of treats is truly impressive, and as a vegan, it's so refreshing to have a bakery that offers such a wide variety of options.
The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and they were more than happy to help me navigate their menu to find the perfect treats for my dietary preferences. I ended up trying their vegan lemon cake with vanilla icing and lemon curd. The flavors were rich, the textures perfect, and the presentation was beautiful.
Not only were the baked goods delicious, but the atmosphere of the bakery itself is cozy and inviting. It's clear that the team at Batter & Crumb puts a lot of care into what they do, and it truly shows in the quality of their products.
