Came here for Pho but almost didn’t get it as there were other options on the menu that looked delicious. The broke rice dishes were quite tempting but I ended up going with the beef ball and rare steak pho. The broth was very flavorful and there was plenty of noodles. I wish there was more beef balls in the dish as it felt like 85% rare steak and not much beef ball
Got a large pho and broken rice with pork chops. The soup was very good in the pho but the meat is probably not the best tho. The broken rice was good. Didn't expect the pork chop to be very saucy. Still good but different from expected
Great tasting Pho. Fast and quick service too. I sat down and ordered. Got our food in less than 5 mins. Plenty of tables and space.
If you haven't had pho, there is variey of toppings. Can't go wrong with any of them. Choose what you like. The broth is where it is at and make sure a sip of it before digging into the noodles. I know in Vietnam they eat this even when it is hot but it definitely hits differently when you have pho on a cold winter day.
Definitely worth coming back here again.
If you're in the mood for delicious pho and don't want to worry about parking, this restaurant is a great choice. While they tend to be quite busy on weekends, their lot always has ample parking, which sets them apart from other pho places in South Philly. We highly recommend their medium pho #20 and boneless lemongrass BBQ - both are personal favorites. Whether you're looking for a hangover cure, a comforting winter meal, or a warming soup to help fight off a fever, you really can't go wrong with pho!
I came with my son and they even provided special scissor to cut the pho noodles into smaller pieces.
Price definitely has gone up the past year. It’s now $12+ for the pho special. Still good though, portion is filling.
Good stuff, good stuff. Soup flavor is consistently good. Service is very in and out: just sit, order, eat and go. Average price. Very clean. Plenty of parking in lot where you don't have to fight ppl nor traffic in Chinatown. Located next to an Asian supermarket. I can see why my friend swears by this place.
Beef pho, good
Chicken pho, good
Vermicelli, good
Summer rolls, good
Coffee, good
Egg rolls, only thing that could use work
Always a Go To Place.
Either for hangouts or hangovers.
A bowl of pho is a must.
And try Vietnam Coffee to sober up those hangovers!
It's my go-to spot for a bowl of Pho. Nice & Piping hot! My bf just said it needed more meat in his, but apart from that, it's good. 4 stars for the amount of meat in my bf's bowl. I like my portion just fine because I eat small portions. I got medium; he got large, and it comes with condiments to add to the noodle soup,. We call it Pho.
We love it! Best pork chop rice in town! Would be better if they put more rice in.
This is my favorite Pho spot in Philly! Their pho Tai is delicious and the topping sizes are generous.
Their to go packaging is also done really well. Sometimes I'll bring my own bowl, order pho to go, and go to a park and eat.
Seriously tho, the broth here is really good!
