Is the pizza edible? Yes... does it stand out from the rest of the pizza in Philly? No. It lacks the flavor profile that I look for when I eat pizza. Everyone enjoys different things about eating pizza. If you like more dough and sauce, you might want to look elsewhere... there was plenty of cheese and meat but missing the basil and salty cheese taste. Surprisingly, the sausages were a little spicy(i like good surprises). I added some seasoning on it and devoured it. You can't mess up pizza unless you mess it up.

Top pizza shop in Philly. My girlfriend, friends and I all love the pizza. It's very filling, the crust is thick like a breadstick and the sauce is delicious. I've been here multiple nights and it's consistently good. You will spend a couple more bucks than a normal pizza place, but it's worth it for the quality. Recommend :)

This was honestly the most delicious buffalo chicken pizza slice I've ever had. The crust was crispy and light; the buffalo sauce was perfectly portioned and complimented the cheese wonderfully; and the blue cheese chunks had a delicious intensity that helped keep balance with the buffalo heat. 5/5 and I can't wait to try other slices from this spot.

Did slide in for a slice, was happy as always to be served a slice with the heat of a 1000 Suns. No better spot to grab a 🍕. Deep Rooted in the 'hood. This place isn't going anywhere any time soon.

Definitely one of the best plain pies in the neighborhood. They also have a bunch of weird/fun pies that are delicious, try the al pastor! Only reason for 4 stars is sometimes the wait time they give you on the phone is way off. If the order is going to take 45 mins, that’s fine, but don’t tell me 20.

This place is a hidden gem! I came to grab lunch one day and ordered the Enrico Suave sandwhich. Came with chicken, broccoli rabe, roasted red peppers and provolone on a fresh seeded roll. It was delicious!!!

When you want an authentic Philly style pie, this is where you go. But it doesn't stop there... my go-to is meatball parm or chicken cutlet sandwich... no, wait... Pizza Steak with pepperoni! Can't go wrong here, though. Love this place!

Rustica has what I believe to be the best pizza in the neighborhood. I have been a patron for at least five years, probably more...and I eat far too much pizza.
Rustica is not just a pizza place. They are part of our neighborhood, and I know many people have bonded over the food in this friendly spot. Rustica also participates in many local events that other pizza places either ignore or are not invited to. They address any issues customers have kindly and with an attempt at resolution. Their pizza has always been correct and almost always comes within 30 minutes.
Rustica delivers searing hot pizza, whether you order a slice, takeout or delivery. Their normal crust is crunchy and chewy with a bit of smoky char (but not burned). My favorite is a pepperoni, and they'll cook it light for me because I like very soft dough. They have great selection of drinks, slices, sides, salads and sandwiches. The list of unique pies is huge, and you can sample many different kinds in slice form to find your favorite.
I'm a huge pizza fan so if any element is off, I don't enjoy it. Rustica has a great sauce (they add Parmesan cheese to it and I think it's special), yummy cheese and flavorful dough base. All in all, very good pizza!
Their slices and drinks are very reasonably priced. The salads/sides/sandwich prices are normal for the neighborhood.
I deducted one star because the pizza costs a little more than I can afford when I eat it so much. I totally get a $20+ specialty pie with fancy toppings, but plain or 1 topping isn't that much less. However, you're getting fast, hot, great pizza, and this is about as gourmet as pizza gets.
I don't expect Rustica to lower their prices when you get the quality you pay for (and they provide high quality pizza), but I'd love if they offered a small pie. Their medium is quite large, and to me the large looks more like extra-large. Offering a small pie would give a pizza option that's less expensive without the business having to charge any less and encourage more singles, couples, and students to order delivery.
I look forward to more years of great pizza. I'll have to make sure to post a "decade of pizza" review in 5 years. ;)

I'm not from Philly but I am from New York City which is the Pizza Capital of the WORLD!
I LOVE going to Rustica when I am in Philly since the pizza there is one of the best I have ever had anywhere!
Great Pizza starts with a Perfect foundation of thin dough that has been raised and treated properly just like Great Kids!
Then the use of high quality ingredients and a wonderful combination of toppings add the flavor and taste profile that keep me coming back for more!
I must confess that I want to live in Philly just to savor a slice of heaven in every bite on a daily basis!
But alas...distance makes the heart grow fonder and I keep trying to find a slice of heaven elsewhere but have not been as satisfied as when I savor the flavor of Pizza from Rustica in Philly!
Gotta get you to open up a few more heavenly outposts elsewhere soooooon!
I am ready and waiting and I'll be baaaaack!
FUGGEDABOUDIT!!!
Grazie Mille to the staff and the Wonderful owner of Rustica for their Prowess at Making GREAT Pizza!

New to No Libs and landed here for my first dibs on a pizza shop. Haven't ordered from anywhere else yet, it's been almost 5 months.
The red pie is slamming. Crust is perfect. Wings are very good and I love that they're served with carrot sticks.
Have had the chicken pot pie specialty pie. Different obviously. Tasted great but very heavy. One slice max. Tip: did reheat well.
Thinking I should have a dine in experience soon, as this review is per delivery. Thanks Rustica for great pizza!

probably one of the best cheese steaks I've had! Fresh and fast! You definitely get your money's worth!

Honestly, the best pizza I've ever had. Nothing beats their thin crust and the wide variety to choose from. Please, if you are ever in the area, do yourself a favor and grab a slice!

I've been in Minnesota for a little over a week and all i've been craving is Rustica. They have some of the best pizza in Philly! You do NOT want to miss out on $1 slice day either!! But even if it isn't $1 slice day, it's definitely worth every penny.
